Summary: I MISS YOU AIWA!
Review: I got this CD player 2 years ago for christmas. I have to say this is a VERY VERY VERY reliable product! I droped it so many times, and it still worked. Once the cover was open and I droped it and broke a hinge but it was no biggie. The EASS was enough for me, the sound was superb and the battery life was very good. My grunt about it is this, sometime in may I left it in my fathers Iszus troopers glove box and left it there for a week. I came back to get it out (my MP3 player was out of batts) and the center ring (where you put the cd on) was bent. I don't know if it was from heat or what but that was my gripe. other than that everything about it is great! I would of gladly bought another one ...

Summary: Good While It Lasted
Review: I had this player for about 2.5 years and used it exclusively in my car. I was impressed with the performance and the sound was was very good/better than most portable cd players I have used in my car. However, one day the power kept turning on and off and realized that the DC Jack in the back that connects to the lighter input was busted. Not sure how this happened! However, it still works fine as a stand-alone portable.

I would reccomend this product if you have the bucks to spend and will not use it solely for car use. *sigh* I think I will just spring for an in-dash

Review: I needed a CD player for the many hours I spend studying in the library. I've had this player for over a year and it has served me very well. I have not met with any problems. It was a bit bulky as I had expected.

When the battery power is almost exhausted, the keys for options like extra bass and random play stop working until the battery is replaced.

I tried to use it while working out but it skipped often if I didn't have the antiskip option on (but this option tended to consume a lot more battery power). The sound quality is commendable with options for increasing the bass to your liking.

Overall it's a quality player for daily use. I highly recommend it! It met all my expectations.

Summary: Excellent quality, very fairly priced
Review: I've been extremely happy with this product--it provides thebare-bones essentials without any fancy-shmancy features likeprogramming. What you get is excellent sound quality and anti-skip protection that's good enough for a brisk walk but probably not a run in the park. If you want to go to track 8, you can't press "8" but you can get there by pushing ">>" a few times....If you value quality sound, durabilty, and reliability first and foremost, and can live without the add-ons, this unit is probably a good bet.

Summary: Far, far, far better than the Sony player I owned.
Review: The Sony player that I owned which cost the same price as this player(the 191) was far worse than this player. That player recently broke after about a 5 month period. It skipped constantly, even if I was walking down stairs.

I recieved this player today and was instantly far more pleased with its features and performance. The sound is far fuller and cleaner on this player, and most importantly: it doesn't skip. The first thing I did when I got this player is shake the absolute daylights out of it. No skipping. At least this player has a pause button, which is something my Sony player didn't have. Even after only one day, I absolutely don't see anything wrong with this player.

Absolutely recommended and truly excellent for a lower-level player.

Review: This CD player is cool! I tossed it up and down while listening to it and it didnt even skip once! Personally I didnt have any problems w/ it for 4 months so far... I think Bob shook his CD player a bit too hard...

Summary: Great for one week
Review: When I got this product and tried it. I found it very good. The sound was great, the bass was good, and I could shake the heck out of it without it skipping. It could even fall out of my hand without skipping! But unfortunately, there was a big downside. After about a week of use, it would turn on when I picked it up and when I turned it off it would either go back on or just not respond. I'm not quite sure weather it was just mine or all of them but I'm just warning you.
