Summary: Great tapes!!!
Review: I originally wanted to purchase the Fuji 4 pack, but they had none in stock in Amazon. Considering I had a gift certificate I looked for the best price for the most amount of tapes. I saw these tapes (considering they were tax free, unlike those from [local store]), and for the amount they had (3) these were the best deal for the price. The picture quality is great, and when I re-record on the same tape there is no visible reduction in picture or sound quality! I recommend these tapes to anyone with the camera fit for it (500 lines of resolution). When I bought these tapes there were no reviews, so I was apprehensive thinking that these tapes might have some problems. You can rest assured that these tapes are just as good as any other.

Summary: dependable and consistent quality
Review: I really like these tapes. The quality and care that they used in manufacturing these mini DV tapes definitely show. Each tape in this three pack is individually wrapped and labeled. On the front of the tape there is a yellow write protect switch. Each tape comes with a translucent tape case and labels for marking tapes with color codes and labels like "master", "copy" or "birthday". The front face of the tape is blank except for a few markings and the write protect switch. The top has: TDK logo, duration (SP 60/LP 90), format (mini DV digital video cassette) and the letters DVM60 in the top sticker area. The cassette is navy blue with a gray protective tape cover that covers the actual magnetic tape when not in use. The markings are silver and gold in color.

Summary: great deal!
Review: I was not able to find a better deal on MiniDV tapes. I was worried that the quality would not be as good as the more expensive RadioShack brand tapes I have been buying, but I actually haven't noticed any difference in quality. I am very happy with this purchase.

Summary: Excellent quality at a fair price
Review: If you have a digital camcorder you'll need lots of tape. The new camcorders are so easy to use and small enough to take anywhere that you must remember to carry extra tapes. These tapes are also small enough to allow you to easily carry additional tapes. TDK always makes a reliable product and these tapes are another good example of TDK quality. I've used the same tape again and again with no obvious degradation of quality. My video (with an inexpensive camcorder) is clear and crisp. The tapes that I use repeatedly are holding up fine. Overall I'm really pleased.

Summary: Is 500 lines a drawback?
Review: My camcorder records 540 lines per frame, so can someone tell me if the 500 lines mentioned for these tapes make it not suitable for my camcorder.

Summary: Does it support 90 minute recording mode?
Review: Some tapes can be used at SP for 60 minutes and LP for 90 minutes. What about this one?

Summary: Dependable tapes
Review: TDK tapes are all made with dependability in mind. I bought my TDK MiniDV tapes a year ago and have been using two of them heavily (saved one for archive), and both work reliably in my Sony camcorder. I actually record in Sony's LP mode, which records 90 minutes on the 60-minute tapes, and the video and audio quality is excellent, even after repeated uses. I highly recommend TDK products.
