Summary: it's pretty good
Review: this is a good cd player. it's a nice color that everyone likes, the headphones aren't flimsy, it's got a great car kit to annoy your brother by playing a cd he doesn't like, the only bad part is the antishock doesn't work that well. you can turn it but don't drop it, it skips. but it works really well most if the time. i got it for x-mas and for only 50 bucks, it's a good bargain!

Summary: GPX C3948BI Blue Ice Ultra-Slim CD Player with Car Kit
Review: Very nice CD player purchased as a Christmas present for my son. He loves it. It is a "cool color" and very user friendly. My husband fell in love with the Car Kit feature and says that it is outstanding. The one and only drawback is that the Bass Booster distorts the sound quite a bit. Even with that one drawback, I highly recommend this product. Good price, good product.

Summary: THis thing sucks!
Review: Batteries last about 30 minutes in this thing- it only works when it wants to, even in the car- don't buy this!

Summary: A pretty good CD player
Review: I needed a CD player for my office and for car trips. This one fit the bill perfectly and it's *cheap*. Six months down the road, I'm still happy with it.

As other reviewers have pointed out, the headphones are not too sturdy, but they're fine for "normal" use. Maybe not if you're going to throw them in your backpack everyday though.

The anti-shock works well. I drive a Jeep that's always bounces around, and the CDs keep on going (but not when I get offroad).

Summary: Super Product
Review: Lives up to it's claims. Does not skip, sounds GREAT, easy to use and worth every penny. Comes so complete you will not need any extra adapters. A must have!! And I am ordering another for hubby. GREAT PRODUCT!!!!!!!

Summary: Flimsy headphones
Review: Well, all I can say about this is that it works. If you really cannot afford a better discman this is the thing for you. I suggest you pay an extra $20-$30 for a name brand system, you will be paying $15+ in a matter of weeks to replace the headphones anyway. Anyway it was an introduction to me to discmans, now I only use the car kit.

Summary: headphones [stink]
Review: This cd player looks really cool and it plays well, but theheadphones [stink]. The anti-shock works very well. Everything works well except the headphones.

Summary: You get what you pay for
Review: All I can say is that you get what you pay for. The headphones are really low quality (I bought new ones for the discman). The sound quality is not great, definitely not good with the headphones it comes with. It skips all the time and the battery does not last very long at all. I dropped it at the gym the other day and it died - a sign from above that it is time for a new discman.

Summary: Good while it lasted
Review: I enjoyed using my GPX while it lasted. It looks awesome, and it's so light and compact that I could just put it in my jacket pocket and listen to music where ever I went; then jump in the car and plug it in there, and I'm wired. The anti-skip function is the best I've seen. I haven't tried throwing it on the ground, like so many say they have, but it's worked well even upside-down bouncing around in my pocket. However, believe what everyone else says about the headphones. Very flimsy and the sound is subpar, but if you like the color and the price, you may overlook their shortcomings. Whether it's the car hook-up or what, it stopped working and I did't try it on headphones again before it turned into a CD player raisin in the back of my car. Oops. Well, it was nice while it lasted.

Summary: MORE BANG FOR THE BUCK
Review: I bought this CD player back in April, and I love it. It has slid off my dashboard in my car and slammed into the door, on many corners, and has never skipped. Its light weight looks pretty cool and comes with a ton of stuff. I've only used the headphones a couple times, and they are average, but if you want real good head phones you will have to buy them separate anyway. Its definately worth the money, especially if you want to use it in the car or running.
