Summary: Best CD player on the market
Review: I have proven other models also of Panasonic in the past and all have operated perfectly, however the design of the screen and the buttons of this new model make it better to the anterior, also the sound is amazing. I have utilized it in my car and the disk has never skipped. Just Buy It.

Summary: so far so great
Review: I just bought this yesterday and took it out for a spin - it never skipped once and made my car sound like Carnegie Hall. I drove over some pretty formidable New York City pot holes and it still held its own. It's nice and small too, so it fits perfectly in the spot I previously stored my sunglasses. The remote control is very cool too - a must for the car. This is a great non-car companion as well - the headphones are pretty good and the extra bass option sounds great (even in the car). In my opinion, this is a solid portable cd player with just the right features at a very reasonable price. Many thanks to the other Amazon reviewers who steered me away from other cd players I was considering. I'm very happy, so far, with this one.

Summary: Well Worth The Money
Review: I recently bought this product after reading the reviews of others. I have never owned anything by Panasonic and was somewhat skeptical about the reviews. But after having it for over a week I can honestly say all the 5-star ratings are accurate. True to its claim, the CD player has not skipped a single time. And I have put it through the test! With the car adapter, I plugged it in to my vehicle and have driven over the potholes, metal plates, and uneven streets of the District of Columbia without a hitch. After a while you even forget that it's not an integral part of your vehicle; the same is true for trail hiking, walking, etc. I have even tossed it around a bit with no noticeable lapses. The headphones are very good and more than what you would expect from a manufacturer. One area of criticism would be that the headphone jack doesn't sit too tightly in the receiver, so what may seem like a skip is actually the wire coming out of the plug. Other than that, I think it's a great product with very good sound that is well worth the price.

Summary: THE BEST!!!
Review: I recommend this Cd Player for you to own. Because there are like.....no cons! And alot of pros! nah, not a piece of junk. Very Very good skip protection! You hit it on the wall, the music still plays without skipping! It is rugged, i've dropped it like 5 times and it works like a charm! I think the volume is pretty loud, (cuz i am hard of hearing, so I don't know if it is loud enough for you guys yeaaaa it's loud) It plays mP3's. Also you know how when sumtimes your friend's cd player is playing in their backback? That's because "it" pushed the play button, well this won't happend to this because after your done, on the side, there is a switch and you slide it over to the "hold" button, now it wont play and you don't have mto worry about your cd player being played when your not knowing it. Up to 28 hours playback with 2 AA batterites. I highly recommend this cd player to ANYONE!!!

Summary: It died much to young
Review: I was looking for a new CD player since my other one broke a while ago. Anyways, this morning I was looking in the Target Sales Paper and found this CD player coupon on it. I thought it was pretty nice, and I checked other people's review before I bought this. Like the other reviews written here, this IS a great machine. I'm loving it! The sound quality is great, nice design, and the remote is pretty nice.

Summary: Definitely anti-skip
Review: I'm so glad I bought this particular discman. I purchased it specifically for when I go jogging and have found that the company lives up to their word that it won't skip. There was one day where it seemed to skip a little, but it was terribly windy out that day so I'd have to say that was a fluke. I've gone jogging over a dozen times since & haven't had a problem. The sound quality is magnificent too. I don't think you'll be disappointed (unless you live in the "Windy City"--LOL!)
