Summary: Skips be gone
Review: This is the best player around. I researched for a long time to find the most user friendly one out there. All buttons are labeled and basiclly self explanatory. I tested the anti shock and shook it and it never skippped unless i had the anti shock off. The bass is excellent! It can also be changed to take the bass off if you want. I definatly recommend it!

Summary: pathetic
Review: This is the biggest wast of money. It takes forever to change songs. Alot of times it stops half way through a song. i strongly advise not to buy it. The tape and headphones eaven broke within the first 6 months. never drop it

Summary: best deal
Review: This portable cd player surprised me! The sound quality is much better then my big sony boombox! You can repeat songs, shuffle, and it hardly every skips. It is easy to use, and the sound is clear and bassy. The only annoyance is the earphones that come with it because they fit kinda strangely. But they are OK. This is an awesome discman, especially for the dirt cheap price!!

Summary: Portable Music, Light Weight
Review: When i first got this player i was really impressed with all the stuff it came with (the car kit). It had an AC-Adapter, Car sound converter, a power adapter for the cigarrete lighter slot and overall it's a very good player ^_^! I listen to all my music on this when i go on trips or school or anywhere. It reads my CD-R music great and i have no problems with it. The anti-skip is pretty good though sometimes it skips for no reason... pretty weird considering i have the a-shock feature on and i'm not even moving the player. Anyway i get to listen to my music for a long time even on 2 cheap AA bateries. It's a great CD player and I'm glad i have it

Summary: Started to make a high pitched noise after a few months
Review: When I first got this, it was everything that I wanted from it. It didn't skip in the car, it sounded fine. Of course it came with crappy headphones, but thats normal. But the reason I gave it 2 stars, was because after a few months when playing music i will hear high pitched sound in the backround. I can still listen to music, but it be much nicer without it. So I do not recommend this product.

Summary: With Fords and Mercuries
Review: When I tried my new Panasonic SL-SX271C in my house, I was thrilled. When I tried it in my car, it would only run about 20 to 30 seconds before the tape player would eject the adapter. I called Panasonic. They said that some Ford and Mercury factory-installed tape players were incompatible with Panasonic's adapter. (Sigh) I rate this 1 star to get people to check out my problem before they buy. It otherwise seems like a good unit.
