Summary: Good Quality filters
Review: I am starting my career as a professional photographer, and I haven't had any problems with these filters. They come in a nice case, and are easy to attach to my lenses.

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: Do as advertised, but I'm not impressed by the quality
Review: Set that I got came in a somewhat cheap case and has poor anodizing on them. Shiny and seemingly worn in some of the threads. At first I thought they had been used but at closer examination, they were just poorly finished. The circular polarizer does not turn smoothly, again probably due to the poor finish in the threads. I may return them and get something more acceptable, such as Promaster.

Summary: Poor Quality Filters
Review: The filters that I got are poorly finished. The 812 filter has a smudge on it, while all 3 filters don't screw on properly on my lens. All filters come off EASILY. They are totally useless. I suggest that you buy filters in a real store so you can try them on your lens.

Summary: Great Price but....
Review: There is no doubt that the price is right with this set as it comes with 3 filters. but using relatively inexpensive UV filters on lenses as protection is not a good idea because it will degrade your image slightly. if you have superior lenses (like Canon L glass or IS) you will probably want to buy a much higher quality UV filter as protection. and if you have cheaper lenses, then i would not use a cheap UV filter because you will be degrading your image too much.

the good news is that you also get a circular polarizer and a warming filter in this set. so that helps make this kit worthwhile.

just don't fall into the trap of thinking that cheap UV filters on your lenses are necessarily a good thing.

Summary: Great Value for Basic Necessities
Review: These really are the essential filters. I keep the UV protector on my lens anytime I'm not using another filter just to protect the lens.

The circular polarizer is fantastic. It is amazing how often it is needed. You simply turn the filter until you find the point where glare disappears. I've used it for everything from eliminating glare from the Plexiglas in ice skating rinks and windows to the midday sun glare. It's fantastic.

The warming filter comes in very handy in landscape and portraits. I've used it most in outdoor portraits to enhance that warm sunset feel.

Three filters everyone should have. They even come in a nice case.
