Description:

Compatible with T-Mobile cell phone service, the Sharp TM150 is the first cell phone in the US to be equipped with a 1-megapixel camera and QVGA color display. Other key features include a massive 6MB of memory, a SD memory card slot and 32MB removable card, the usual Internet capabilities, and class 10 GPRS high-speed data download capabilities, all displayed on a 240x320 pixel, 262,000 color external screen--compare that to the current standard of 65,000-color and you'll get the idea of what this phone's about.

Calling Features
Used simply as a phone, the TM150 features a 4-way joystick for easy navigation to a variety of handy features, including a dedicated voice mail button, and a voice mail indicator, volume select/display, signal strength indicator, call timers, redial, missed call indicator, call log, any-key answer, auto-redial, roaming indicator, speed dial, phonebook look-up, phonebook scroll, mute control, no-answer transfer, usage alert, vibrating ring that you can sync to different ring tones, differential ring, and a phone book capacity of 1000 entries.

Messaging and Internet
The phone's wireless Internet browser provides high-speed data transmission via GPRS, as well as advanced messaging, which lets you send, receive and edit text, voice, and pictures and video (such as ones you take with the camera) to and from other compatible phones and computers. For your business e-mail needs, protocols supported include POP3, SMTP, and SMTP authentication. Predictive text input and text message templates round out the package, along with the ability to expand your phone's functionality by downloading Java MIDP 1.0 applications.

Organizer
The Sharp TM150's organizer features include a calendar, calculator with currency convert, alarm clock with 5 separate alarms, voice memo that's limited in storage only by memory, and more. Using the phone's USB capability, you can also quickly and easily sync up data from your phone's organizer with your PC.

Cameras, Fun, and Games
As mentioned above, the TM150 comes with a serious (for a phone) integrated 1.0 megapixel digital still camera that also includes a timer, multi-shot mode, night mode, and macro abilities, as well as brightness controls and digital zoom. It can even record 15 second-video clips with sound. You can view your photos on the color display, or send them to your computer or via MMS to a friend with your Internet connection. Further on the graphics front, you can also download a variety of wallpapers, and screen savers from the Web and edit them right on your phone. Graphic formats supported include PNG, JPEG, NEVA, GIF, BMP, WBMP, and WPNG. There's also Java games available from the Web, as well as ring tones for use on the 24-chord player.

The Sharp TM150 weighs 4.0 ounces and measures 3.66 x 1.69 x 0.98 inches. Its Lithium Ion batteries are rated at 240 minutes minimum talk time, and 300 hours minimum standby time. It runs on the GPRS at 900/1800/1900 MHz.
