Summary: Good Affordable Flip Phone for the Simple Folk
Review: I bought two of these for my parents on Christmas. This phone is essentially an updated version of the classic v60 series from Motorola. It is a nice small & compact flip phone with external callerID/Battery Level/Signal Strength/Clock so you can check up on those without opening the phone. The phone's color screen is not as bright and crisp as the newer GSM phones. Also, what I think was the biggest disapointment was the SMALL screen. The screen can only show about 3-4 lines. This can be annoying if you are reading a long text message. Other than that it still has cool color screen savers and wallpapers and color schemes to customize it to your tastes. The exterior is a sleek brushed metal. It is really nice and unique from the usual silver on the other flip phones of today.

Goods:
-Small & Sleek w/ Sexy Brushed Metal Finish.
-Buttons backlit in a cool blue instead of that old green.
-Good Battery Life
-Good Voice Quality
-Solid and Reliable ATT Coverage (TDMA not GSM)

Bads:
-Tiny, but Color Screen.
-Antenna easily comes off, but it is easy to screw back on, although there have been reports of it "breaking" off so you cant just screw it back in yourself.
-Motorola Menu System can sometimes be a little confusing compared to Nokia's user friendly menu's.

Conclusion:
This is a great phone for the people who dont need or want all those bells and whistles of today's other camera next generation phones. So basically for people who just want to talk and send/recieve the occasional text message this phone will suit your needs just fine in a sleek compact package.

Review: I brought this phone a few weeks ago. I love how small it is and its so easy to use. Everything sounds extremely clear it has fun games downloadable ringtones you can change the background depending on your mood. Its just an all around good phone. The only problem i am having is finding faceplates with diffrent designs. I was only able to find red, pink and black.

Summary: AT&T Best service this phone
Review: I liked the V60 color its a great phone I went from GSM to TDMA its a great service by AT&T. Better reception but family plan little bit expensive. I would go with at&T. I got the phone at no cost which is a very good deal. The couple things different from the v60i is its a color screen, better signal strength, voice dialing, more space for phonebook and menu style is different. I would recommend this phone
Great product A++++

Summary: motorola v60t
Review: Living in Columbia, SC (with an occasional drive to Charleston), I get fantastic service from SunCom and the V60t from Motorola never ceases to impress me. I decided that I'd had enough of Sprint so I went to buy a new phone (also, my old Samsung N240 began dropping calls). The sales rep suggested that I get another Samsung phone. While they are shiny, lightweight, and relatively advanced - it seems to me that Samsung has lost sight of the reason most people buy mobile phones - to do business and keep in touch ... verbally. Signal strength on Samsung phones has been, in my experience, terrible. Motorola, however, focuses more on keeping you in touch with the towers, and thus the people you wish to talk to. This phone is not without fault however. Perhaps the biggest disapointment was the internal screen's contrast. Viewing the display in full sunlight can be troublesome - but not impossible. The outer monochrome LCD screen displays the vitals (caller ID, signal strength, battery, date and time, and digital/analog indicators) and does it quite well.

Overall - really great phone for people that wish to use it as such. Make no mistake, this is not a bizare communication device; leave Samsung phones (and Sprint PCS) for the kiddies to take those terrible-quality pictures and send indecipherable text messages with.

Summary: Motorola's flagship TDMA flip-phone gets some color
Review: Motorola's second-generation version of their flagship V60 flip-phone continues to prove itself a worthy successor to the industry redefining StarTAC. Those who've yet to jump on the GSM bandwagon will find the V60 to be a solid performer, with a feature set that may not match the bells-and-whistles of GSM phones, but is eminently useful. Perhaps best of all, unlike GSM phones, the TDMA-based V60 retains the ability to fallback to analog (AMPS) service when digital can't be found. This will become less of a differentiator as cellular providers build out their GSM networks, but at this time it can still help you find useable service outside big cities and off major transportation routes.

The original V60 replaced the incredibly popular StarTAC. At about the same thickness (though more uniformly from end to end) and a bit narrower, the V60 was a stylish follow-up. In addition to improved battery life, the V60 added programmable ringtones, voice dialing, and several other useful improvements. The signal and voice quality duplicated or improved upon those of the StarTAC, and the flip-phone form-factor continued to prove more comfortable for handset use than candy-bar styled phones.

The V60 Color retains the advantages of the original V60, and adds a few tweaks. The inside color display is both an improvement (for its greater display capabilities) and a distraction (for its difficulty in viewing under strong sunlight). The external display has been enlarged, which on the one hand allows it to display additional information (signal strength, digial/analog service, battery charge), while on the other reduced the size of the date and time display. The V60 Color's voice dialing now has two modes: the name mode of the original V60, in which you can recall entries in your phone book with a voice tag, as well as digit dialing, in which you can dial 7- 10 and 11-digit phone number by speaking the digits. The latter is particularly handy, though it means that voice dialing now takes an extra step while you ask for either Name or Digit dialing.

Downsides of the V60 Color are mostly the same as the V60. The fixed external antenna can poke you in the side if you carry the phone on your belt. The belt clip that's included with the phone is useable, but not necessarily the most comfortable (the thin Body Glove case, for example has a much more tractable clip). Motorola's menu system isn't always intuitive, and the single-voiced ringtones (no polyphonics, no MP3s) are dull.

If you need a camera, advanced ringtones, Internet browsing or the other bells and whistles of GSM, this is not the phone for you. If you're looking for a stylish, solidly performing TDMA phone with AMPS capability, this is a great pick.

Summary: Great Phone
Review: The Motorola V6O is a great line of phones. They look incredibly sophisticated with the shiny case and all. The color version is great. I just got it and the phone is wonderful. The displays are great and there are alot of features...i.e. wallpapers, screensavers, games, a radio feature, and etc. I would reccommend this phone for someone who wants a rugged, dependable, clear cell phone.

Summary: A Classic!!
Review: This phone is the gold stardard to which I compare all cell phones. It is a lot better than even other phones in the moto V60 series. The V60t is highly customizable, not foring its user to use the backgrounds provided. I make most of my calls using the recent calls list that the phone stores, and I like how I can create a button on the main screen that links directly to the recent calls menu. Plenty of call statistics with the call timers. Sound quality is excellent and the phone is the perfect size for pocket carrying. This phone is truely a utilitarian masterpiece in a world of complicated phones with too many bells and whistles and too little overall quality.
