Summary: Worst service on the planet
Review: If you want the highest monthly bill for the worst service, buy Nextel. I've had Sprint, At&T, and Verizon, all better and cheaper. Bought Nextel for the Direct Connect, what a mistake. Verizon MUCH better. (New York metro area).

Summary: It has games and a calculator
Review: The previous reviewer said i90c doesn't have a calculator or games, that's incorrect. Under "Java Apps", you can find a calculator, a small utility to help calc the tips, and a few games. I've owned this phone for over a year, the quality has been great, but it looks kinda too bulky now so I replaced it with A630.

Summary: Great quality, but very outdated
Review: This was a fantastic phone 3 years ago, and while it still has that high level of quality that makes Motorola so great, it is very outdated at this point. Without a color screen, a camera, a calculator or calander, this phone isn't good for much more beyond calling people. It has a strong signal with great audio quality, but it doesn't even have any games (oh no!) So while I wouldn't be too hasty to get rid of this phone if it still serves you well, I also wouldn't run out and buy this phone new.

Summary: Worst service on the planet
Review: In my area, Nextel is the preferred carrier for construction companies. As a person who has 50+ nextel phones on my account, I know alot about the quality of these phones. I have seen them dropped in everything. The i90 is weak in the flip. The flip will fall off at the hinges or it will become disconnected inside the housing and quit working. Also the design of the keypad is weak. It is raised so that after using the i90 heavily for a year, the big round button near the top of the keypad begins to wear an imprint into your flip display.

Summary: Motorola i90
Review: I recently purchased the i90c. I am a huge fan of Motorola phones and have been extremely happy with them. The i90c is a GREAT phone. I have the V60g and wanted a larger handheld. The size is perfect, speakerphone awesome, and the belt clip is designed for easy release. The problem was with the Nextel service. Very spotty coverage in my area and very little service at my house and office where I used to have good coverage. Every carrier has their own good and bad areas, but people had a tough time understanding me during calls. The Direct Connect is great, but cellular reception for my customers is more important. As others have mentioned, no battery life. Need to charge it daily. You have 15 days to cancel and I did. Customer Service handled my problems, but they took an extremely long time to answer. I am used to T-Mobile's UNBELIEVABLE Customer Service Dept.: 5 minutes on hold at the most. Two calls to Nextel had me waiting for 50 minutes and 1 hour. Service needs improvement in my area. Staying put with crystal-clear T-Mobile.
