Summary: A Top Seller, But Shop Around
Review: A friend of ours had this phone for years. It is not a bad phone but it really is an out of date model. If you are looking for a great phone with Virgin Mobile Pay As You Go pricing, consider spending a lot more on the v7 Flasher Camera Phone, it is worth it! Or if you have to go with a lower priced model I suggest the k9 Rave. Shop around, Virgin Mobile has a ton of great phones to fit everyone's needs.

Summary: Virgin Mobile Phones Will Get Better
Review: Ahh memories....well not really, this is the first phone Virgin mobile put out and it's been a year and the phone is in great condition. It's cute and small, not many upgraded features as the other phones Virgin Mobile has put on the market but it's been of good use and still is. I still have my Spongebob Square Pants Theme Song so I'm greatful about that...I just don't use it as much unless its for emergency phone calls and ahh yes the 100's of text messages I send out daily.

Summary: eh, it does its job...
Review: eh, it does do its job as a cell phone but its not exactly pretty, lol. if all you need is a phone to keep in your car then this is great, but if you hang out with friends and use it alot this phone is ugly and bulky compared to normal phones. this phone is a bit outdated. i just ordered the new Vox 8610 and i've heard rave reviews about it and its very sexy...this phone is a warrior though i've dropped it countless times (*cough*) and its taken the beatings well.

Not much else to say, but basically if you don't use your phone a lot or you just want a phone to keep in your car for emergencies, etc then i would reccomend this, but otherwise try a more stylish phone like the Vox 8610.

Summary: great phone
Review: I bought this phone August 2003 after having many different prepaid cell phones this is got to be the best not only the phone but everything about Virgin Mobile is great. Whenever I have a question or a problem all I have to do is call Virgin Mobile from home or from my cell phone it's a free call and they are really great at helping you out.The only bad thing with this cell phone and all cell phones is new ones come out all the time so if your like me you always whant the newest phone out there so prepare to buy alot of phones oh, the carrier is Sprint so it great in the city.

Summary: Good solid phone, feels good in your hands.
Review: I got this phone about 7 months ago and have had no complaints with it. It works fine and the reception is great. If you want a simple no frills cellphone, go with the Kyocera. You won't even think twice. I am switching away from Virgin mobile because it's too expensive, but if you only use a phone for a backup (emergencys, etc.) this is a great package.

Summary: defective software & a BIG money maker for Virgin Mobile
Review: I have had this phone for just over a year & when I moved from FL to NY I called to have my number changed. After unsuccessfully trying 4 times over 2 days, Virgin Mobile told me that the software in the phone is defective & the phone will not work anymore AT ALL. They said I would have to buy a new phone since it just came off warranty. I told them I shouldn't have to buy a new phone so I want to cancel my account. They said if I don't buy a new phone they just KEEP my prepaid money! What a rip off. First they sell a defective phone then they want to keep all my prepaid money! It's a cheap way to go for a cell phone, but I would NEVER keep more money on it than what you can afford to donate to them.

Summary: Perfect for what I need
Review: I have had this phone for several years and it has been very durable. I keep it in my back pocket, have dropped it repeadedly, and it still works quite well. The battery usually lasts for several days w/ medium-heavy useage. As far as I can tell, this is a no frills phone. I.e. it has few of the features that characterize the most recent phones but that is why I like it.
