Summary: Looks nice, but only average
Review: I too was swayed by the big discount, but these are not much better than the average ... Sony earphones you can find pretty much everywhere. Nevermind sound quality mentioned by the other reviewer, they're not nearly as comfortable and the case has a major flaw - the cord is not enclosed! There is only a recessed ring to wrap it around... only the buds themselves fit in the plastic top (and not very well). At least it's a cool color and happens to match both my laptop and digital camera.

I have been dying to find some decent earphones, preferably self-retracting because the cords get so unwielding, but the Jensen does not appear to be much better. The in-line volume control is a nice addition. Overall, I would say, keep looking.

Summary: Imagine being at a concert with dixie cups over your ears
Review: That's what these earbuds almost sound like. Muffled. When I first saw these I thought, hey 50% off and woah look at these specs. I listened to these earbuds on my iRiver SlimX iMP-350 CD/MP3 Player. They are alright for just listening to music if you don't pay attention to the quality of the sound. I didn't feel much bass coming out of these earbuds. I didn't expect the equivalency of a subwoofer, but I have heard better sounding earbuds with more bass for around the same price. But, it's not all about the bass. Clarity is another issue when it comes to choosing earbuds. I listened to different kinds of music with these but mainly electronic music. That's where these earbuds dissappointed me. They didn't have enough bass and the highs weren't accurate enough. I already purchased a different pair of earbuds after doing some research, .... I am not going to go off-topic but let's just say that the Phillips are gonna be collecting dust in my desk drawer. If you want some good earbuds for when you're on the go or working out, you're better off going for a different brand. ...
