It also comes with a dual desktop charger and AC wall charger: an essential option for those who use their radios often. The radios have the key features you expect in a GMRS 2- way: a five mile range, hands free capability, twenty-two channels (each with thirty-eight privacy sub-channels), a detachable swivel carry clip, a backlit LCD screen, scan button, and full electronic channel and volume controls. You receive two radios so you and your communicating partner are ready to go. This package comes with eight AAA NiMH rechargeable batteries. If you run on normal alkaline batteries you can expect a run time of fourteen to thirty hours; these numbers are a little less with the NiMH. This is a simple, but useful 2-way radio package.
