Summary: Mom of 3 hard to keep track of kids
Review: I purchased these 2-way radios because of the reasonable price and numerous features. I tested them by giving one to my seven year old at a party 1.7 miles from our house. It was easy to find a clear frequency with all the subchannels. The VOX feature made them easy for her to use. (Sometimes younger children have trouble remembering to hold or let go of the talk button.) I was able to lock in the channel we were on, so it could not accidentally be changed. I also really like that the radios are water resistant because I will not have to worry about them getting wet if it should start to rain. This is a great set of radios.
