Review: The Radio works well for a plain Jane CB Handie Talkie. Other reviews state that a CA-25 is a hard item to find. I am using a 12VDC@500 mah AC to DC adapter I had in the junk box for a charger. The Voltage is up about 15-16V unloaded which the 9 nicads at 10.8-12 Volts after internal circuit drop yields a safe slow charge rate to charge the nicads overnight. I found that the charge LED gets dim after the radio is "charged". This has worked well for a radio that is rather inexpensive and works well for the price. Other than a squirt of contact cleaner on the volume pot.. I have had not problems with mine..
