The 77-285AXL radio offers not only forty CB channels, but also ten NOAA weather, Canadian and international channels. The unit incorporates microprocessor controlled PLL circuitry for precise tuning. The radio also offers Midland's ESP2 noise reduction system, allowing a 95% reduction in noise interference. The front panel is a matte black. Another key feature is the backlit, black matrix LCD screen and selected backlit switches: a solid improvement from older LED readouts. Other features include: dual channel watch, high/low power, instant channel nine, jack for earpiece, jack for speaker phone and auto power save mode.
