Summary: Work is once again cool!
Review: We got a pair of these for work (tech support at a University) and we ordered another pair the same day we got the first two. These things are really cool! It is great to be able to contact your coworker instantlly and tell them, quickly, what needs to be done, or to find out some bit of information. It is a great way for us to stay in contact while running around. The range is good, buildings greatly reduce the 2 mile range though. To get 2 miles there has to be nothing in between you and the other person.
If you are going to use these a lot, you may want to look for a model with rechargeable batteries, or else buy rechargeable ones.
