Summary: Excellent product
Review: I bought a pair of the TalkAbout T6200 for a family vacation. We were going to have to take 2 vehicles to go sight-seeing around Alaska and needed a way to communicate. They worked wonderfully. Within a mile, the voice quality was excellent. It can get scratchy further out or with significant terrain obstructions, like office buildings.
We also got the hands-free headsets. Those take a while to get used to. You will also want to play with the vox-sensitivity settings depending on where you are and what you are doing. While mountain biking, your heavy breathing and the wind noise will trigger your device if you don't use a higher sensitivity setting.

Summary: No VibraCall alert feature
Review: I bought the Nordic Blue version of the T6200 a month ago. I'm satisfied with the performance. Although I'm a bit disappointed that the T6200 actually doesn't have the Vibracall function (it says in the manual that only the T6210 and T6220 have it). It was actually one of the main reasons why I chose to buy this model over the T5420. I hope ... would revise it's editorial review and omit this VibraCall alert feature so as not to mislead prospective buyers. Overall, it is a great buy though.

Review: I bought the T6200 for my kids. I had a pair of Audiovox FR540 for them, but noticed that the reception w/ my Motorola wasn't clear at times. So I bought these & now reception w/ all my Motorola's are great.

I tried the T6220 at first, but I did not like the sound quality. But these T6200 seem to work much better. I was so impressed that I bought my wife a T6210 w/ just a few more features than the T6200.

The T6200 is pretty basic, but I like that I can lock the buttons & don't have to worry about the channel being accidentally changed. These are pretty compact, but the kids got used to the Audiovox w/ the folding antenna. I'm sure they'll get used to having the antenna up. Also what's nice is, we all have a different call tone. Now I know who's trying to buzz me. The lime color is nice, it is easily seen.

I still don't like where the mic is located, on the right side, under the squealch button. But overall, I like everything else about this radio. It takes abuse quite well. The face is all scratched up from the kids jumping onto things. The sould quality is very good, they can hear perfectly.

I would recommend this model, especially it is compact w/ good range. Now we're a Motorola family!

Summary: Ol man river
Review: I had a pair of older motorola talkabouts. I was pretty happy with those, but I decided to up grade to the T6200. I'm really glad that I did. Overall this product is great. I have tried it both inside and outside of the house and on the road. I have found that I can't get the whole 2 mile range, but over all it's clear and easy to understand the other person. They are pretty lightweight and the looks arn't bad. These things are a great buy. It was cool

Summary: Works ok but many are better
Review: These FRS radios worked ok but have a terrible, very hard to see display. The LCD backlight color is RED. Very poor contrast and hard to see display functions. Also since buying them I have seen many other brands with many more features for less money.

Summary: Great Radio
Review: These radios work great! They are very clear and non-staticy. If you want to know how they work though, you have to read the instruction manual which takes about a half hour to know all the buttons. The t6210 and t6220 also have good options like weather, vibration call, and eavesdrop reducer. I hope this has been a help to you.

Summary: Fantastic, Great price two-way radio
Review: This walkie talkie is great! I just got it a couple of days ago and the quality of the sound is clear. It's also smaller than I expected. It could easily fit in your pocket. One great option about the T6200 two-way radio is that if you have more than two people on the channel you can set an individual ring so when you call someone they know its you. The walkie talkies are well worth the price and if you don't want to pay too much then these are good for you.
