Summary: Re: disappointed
Review: "i thought it would be a package of at least 2, found out that it is only one and what is my nephew suppose to do talk to himself??"

This is, indeed, a lousy two-way by a lousy manufacturer, but that's not my point...my point is that whoever wrote the above review is a complete moron. Whoever you are, next time you purchase a product from this site, be sure to read over the description; in this case, if you had, you would have noticed that in the second last line of the information, it is clearly stated that these two-ways are SOLD INDIVIDUALLY. Lesson to be learned: The people that run this site don't put such critical information there for their health; it's done as a measure to assist you in determining whether or not you are going to buy a particular product.

Another thing, did you really think that you were going to get more than one two-way for such a ridiculously low price? If you did, you must have never heard the old cliché "You get what you pay for."

Summary: interrupting
Review: its great fun to find other peoples 2-way conversations and confuse them if you only have one radio, me and my friends do it on the school bus whenever someone brings their radio, and its very entertaining to intercept a cell phone call for pizza.

Summary: Super Deal!
Review: This product is fabulous for family outtings such as ski trips, camping or a trip to the theme park! A wonderful and economical way to keep in touch with one another when the group splits up. With one to a package and several different channels, multiple users can stay in touch. It's light weight, compact and very clear compared to other "walkie-talkies".

Summary: Worked Great - For About Four Months
Review: Well... this product worked great for the first three or four months. Then, for some unknown reason, it got stuck in transmit mode... and emitted nothing but loud static when turned on. No matter what I tried, I couldn't get it unstuck. I followed all the directions in the so-called manual (tiny little xeroxed piece of folded paper, actually) for changing modes, but nothing worked. Unfortunately, there was no Troubleshooting section of the manual - which led me to visit the Audiovox website for help. Well, guess what? Audiovox doesn't even acknowledge the existence of this model! When I typed the model number, which is clearly displayed as FR1400 on my unit, into Audiovox's product search box, the search result that was returned was -- invalid product number, no such model! So, if you purchase this product - beware! If something happens to it, you'll be left twisting in the wind!
