Description:
The Midland 75440 two-way radio was made to meet military standards, making it not only tough and durable but also very well designed. It provides both GMRS and FRS transmission, with 23 GMRS channels and 7 FRS channels. With 50 CTCSS codes and 104 digital codes, you get 3,542 privacy code/channel selections. The 75440 is shock resistant and waterproof for outside use. It has a high and low power selection for up to a five-mile range, VOX voice activation, and built-in 25 kHz and 12.5 kHz channel spacing. The radio also comes with a key lock that allows the user to disable all front key controls, preventing new operators for accidentally changing any set codes. Other features include a rechargeable battery pack with a desktop charger, a wall adapter, a flexible antenna, and a belt clip. This Midland radio comes with a limited one-year warranty. Important note to customers: A $45 FCC license is required to operate a GMRS radio. One license covers the entire family.
