Summary: too much static!
Review: I have the model without the answering machine. It is by far the worst cordless I have ever used (let alone owned). It is constant static. And switching bands or channels doesn't help. I called Bell South and they stated it was probably the house I was living in. Well, I have since moved and still the same problem. It truly takes away the convenience of a cordless phone. The person on the other side of the line doesn't hear the static. So you are alone in this misery.
