Summary: Step up to SoundStation
Review: I bought this phone hoping it would be similar in quality to the polycom soundstation phones we use at work. It was not.

When I use the phone, I often cannot hear the first half sentence of the other party when they begin speaking. They complain that I sound like I am in a huge room, and can't hear me if I get more than a foot from the unit.

I am most disappointed.

Summary: Excellent for office conferences.
Review: I purchased this phone thinking it was similar to the SoundStation 100, the difference being this one is newer, sleeker, and cheaper... I was wrong.

The sound quality is terrible. I could not hear a person speaking from a handset without clipping. When I spoke, others said it sounded like I was in a tunnel, or very far from the mic. This was in a room about 10x12. They said it is for small rooms... Like a closet perhaps?

I am going to step up to the SoundStation 100... Which has much better reviews. I'll review it there...

Review: I use it for my SOHO and it works great. I do not understand who other users have posted negative comments on this product. It works great, the sound quality is pretty good for the price. Soundstation with mics is better, but also three times as expensive.

Summary: Great Conference Phone!
Review: I would reccommend this phone to most people, especially those who work at an office. It is great for big meetings in a big room. The features are easy and fun!

Summary: duplex drops, volume too low, sound quality too low.
Review: Picked it up in Office Depot for my home office and just finished packing it for return.

2 things were good:

1. The sensitivity of the microphones, they were picking my voice from quite a few feet away.

2. The 3 LEDs on the top shine bright green when you are in call and bright red when you mute the phone. Always know if you are muted or not to avoid some kind of a Naked Gun-style embarrasment.

The rest was awful:

1. Sound quality: the called party would say something like "what's wrong with your voice? Are you ok?" and as I switch to a headset EVERYONE said the same thing - "oh, that's much better."

2. The duplex feature is promised but not delivered. It would work now but not then.

3. No memory (why? Memory is cheap nowadays).

Eventually I found myself using my regular phone with headset at all times. End of the story.
