Summary: Junk; don't buy this!
Review: I got this phone ... I have it for 20 Minutes and here's why it's going back:

(1) the caller id dosn't "catch" ANY incoming calls! (i have 3 other phones on that line, including one from the same co. that show every call.)

(2) it has a tiny LCD display, you will need glasses to read from it.

(3) the contrast for the lcd does not work at all!

(4) the caller id will only work when the phone is on the receiver, which means after or before a call. So in order to read the caller id, i have to stand directly on top of the phone, reading with lights on and my grandmother's glasses...

Oh, just wait untill i start using it, the way this goes i'll come up with 10 more reasons.

Summary: Don't do it!!!
Review: I have also had this phone for a half hour, and it's going back -the display is tiny and hard to read because the contrast controls are awful. The microphone that picks up your voice in the headset is all tinny, and the ring is the most irritating high pitched ring I have ever heard!

Summary: Good Phone
Review: I like this phone...I got it from my phone company (SBC) and it works great as a phone I use in my bedroom that sits on my nightstand. The Caller ID works well if you let the phone ring two times...but if you pick up before the second ring,it won't display who is calling.

Summary: Decent phone (forgot to mention)
Review: In addition to my previous review, let me add that if you answer the telephone before the second ring, the unit will not display any Caller id info. Not a problem for me, but, I know some people may not not be patient enough to wait and "see" who's calling before a second ring.

Summary: Why the free advertising
Review: In addition to the below mentioned issues, the phone has a large annoying Southwestern Bell logo along the side that does not come off.

Summary: Decent phone
Review: Was looking for a phone for the bedroom. This one fit the bill (almost). I have not had any problems adjusting the contrast (you press down on the arrow buttons to adjust when you first program the phone). The caller id display has worked fine once you program it with your area code. My only complaint is that I wish the company had designed it with a "backlit" caller id display. It's a bit of a hassle to turn on the bedside lamp at night to see who's calling on the caller id display. It has a lighted key pad which is great for dialing in a darkened room. The ringer volume can be adjusted to a low or high level. Works fine.
