It includes caller ID/call waiting and features Modem Monitor Connection Protection, a new-calls indicator, 20 name-and-number autodial, and a toll-call indicator. An easy-to-read three-line display on the handset makes it simple to browse names and numbers stored in memory. (Caller ID and call waiting subscription services must be arranged through a local telephone service provider.) The unit's extended cordless battery life allows up to five hours of talk time or seven days on standby. Casio's Modem Monitor Connection Protection continuously scans your telephone line and safeguards data during file transfers and fax transmissions. The TC920 distinguishes between data and standard voice communications and will prevent the telephone from interrupting an online session when a call attempt is made. Other features include an illuminated keypad, handset page/find, last-number redial, and face-up charging.
