Summary: Worst quality of sound ever heard
Review: Don't bother to go near this phone, unless you want to use this as a answering machine. Handset continously looses connection with base unit and makes wierd noises while talking.

Answering machine functionality is OK. Sometimes it wouldn't even show the caller ID.

Summary: Dont Buy
Review: I bought this about a year ago for college and worked fine until recently. It no longer charges or will allow me to even turn the phone on to answer calls (I have tried to replace the battery and that isn't the problem). However, the answering machine still works fine.

Summary: Handy and easy to use
Review: I ordered this because of the special price and also because I had an AT&T answering machine (without the phone) so I thought it would be easy for me to use. This answering machine is actually easier than my old one. A voice instructs you on how to set it up and use it. The buttons are very straightforward. I read another review which criticized the sound quality and I wonder if that person got a defective phone. Mine works well and I have no problem with the volume (there is a button on the answering machine console to turn the volume up or down). The cordless phone also works well. I think this is a real bargain.

Summary: Worked for a year
Review: This phone was good for about 1 year. Now, the receiver doesn't work properly. I can hear the person on the other end, but they can't hear me. It's become an answering machine.
