Summary: Great phone for the price!
Review: I bought this phone a few years ago and it has been a great phone. I have very few complaints with this phone. The thing I don't like it the fact that it likes to make a lot of noices when you delete names from the caller i.d. I guess I have had this phone for about two years but it's time to get another one... we have dropped it on the garage floor too many times...

Summary: battery life is a joke
Review: I don't think the battery can last beyond a day. My AT&T phone can last up to a week. Other than the unsatisfactory battery life, the phone is fine.

Summary: Best phone I've owned!
Review: I have owned this phone for more than a year now and it's the family favorite! It gets used constantly and, unfortunately, it gets dropped a lot, too! I like it because it's durable, the sound is clear, its range is incredible and the "message waiting" light--which a lot of phones in this price range do not have--is so convenient. Most of the time, I use it with a headset. One very notable feature this phone has is four very easy-to-adjust volume settings. One member of our family wears hearing aids and this is the only phone we have found (that isn't especially designed for hard-of-hearing users) that he can truly hear the caller's voice. That top volume setting and the phone being truly hearing aid compatible has made this phone a real keeper. In fact, I'm just about to purchase a couple more!

Summary: Good everyday phone
Review: I purchased this phone at a local store back in January 2002. This phone is used on my business line. I chose it because it was inexpensive and had the features I needed. Wanted caller ID which this has. The phone has memory speed dial as well. I have voice mail as part of my phone service so didn't want a answering machine function on my phone and this one doesn't have it. I also wanted a 900 MHz phone so it would not interfere with my 2.4 GHz wireless computer network. Has adjustable volume which works well for adjusting to loud or soft talkers. Battery life is great and range is good too. I have mine in the basement of my house against a cinder block wall and can still go outside and roam anywhere in the yard and get goood reception (big yard too). We have a similiar GE Phone (same handset) with answering machine function we use for our residential line and it works great as well. The phones don't interfere with each other either. Good solid phone.

Summary: Good quality
Review: I've had this phone for a little while now...
It holds 40 caller id's, is headset-ready, has good sound, volume control, and good range.
The only thing that I don't like is that there isn't an option to turn the ringer on or off. Besides that, the phone works well.

Summary: Great Phone
Review: My family got this phone about a year ago, and it hasn't given us any technical problems. The range is good. It's upstairs and I've used it outside by the garage. It's clear most of the time, and the caller ID is a great plus. Overall, a good phone.

Summary: GE 26930GE1 - looks nice but sound quality poor
Review: Perhaps I need to avoid phones with volume controls... But at the lowest level the quality is good but not loud enough. As the volume is increased the background noise begins to be annoying. Strange how I replaced an old phone that just fell apart with the latest and greatest to be so disappointed.

Summary: Poor Battery Life
Review: Phone works as advertised. Unfortunately, I don't think the battery life was included in their advertising. - Average sound quality - Difficult to call people back from the phone's call history - Battery life way below my expectations - If the phone dies while you're talking on it, it doesn't automatically hang up. You have to hang the phone up and wait for the phone to grab enough charge to hang up before you can continue the phone conversation even if you've picked up the line on another phone (massive amounts of static). My phone will not last through the day if it wasn't charged the night before. But for the money, I'm satisfied.
