Summary: Great all-around phone!
Review: The voice is clear, the answerer works well and no problems with the battery. It comes with a second handset which was perfect for our needs. Very intuitve controls and the caller-id functions nicely. LOVE the speaker in the handset! Buy it!

Summary: A horrible phone!!
Review: This has to be the worst phone I ever owned. I bought it because I liked the built in answering machine and the additional cordless phone unit, but it's given me nothing but problems. This surprised me because I had good luck in the past with Panasonic phones. The battery life is non-existent. It'll be fully charged and a 15 minute phone call would drain the battery completely making the phone useless. At first I thought I got a bad phone, so I took it back and got another one, the exact same model. Well I had the exact same problem! It was so frustrating to have a fully charged phone go dead after one telephone conversation. Don't buy this model... find another that has more than a 15 minute battery life!

Summary: Gotta wonder how someone could find fault with this thing
Review: This is a great phone system, period. I've had it for over a month, and absolutely love it. No noise, interference, nada. Sound is very crisp and clear. Speaker phone works great. You can use both phones simultaneously. You can also add a 3rd phone to the system if you want. The message system works flawlessly. The price is fantastic and the product delivers everything you could want. I can't understand the few people in these reviews that found things they didn't like. Buy it.

Summary: Excellant phone
Review: This is an excellent phone. Very light weight, great sound quality, easy to set up, nice "handset finder" feature. The phone has basically no hiss or background noise. If I didn't know better I would assume it was a corded phone.

Summary: Good sound but lousy controls and look
Review: This is an ugly phone. That silver thing you see in pictures of the phone is SO tacky looking. It looks like a cordless phone from Russia. In fact, the phone isn't ergonomic at all. It's not smooth; you feel things on it as you talk. Also the buttons are positioned in a way that causes you to inadvertently hit one every time you touch the phone.

Beyond this, the software is terrible. You have to enter names for speed-dialing by following one of those awful "push 1 six times for a capital K" systems. And you have to push so many buttons to use the speed dial that you might as well direct dial.

Even a simple thing like shutting the ringer off requires many pushes of buttons. I mean, the thing has a jog dial. Shouldn't you just be able to push up or down when the phone isn't in use to turn the ringer on or off? No. You have to go through the menus -- for each phone separately -- to turn the ringer on and off.

The phone does have good sound quality. I'll give it that. And it's not that expensive. Still, I don't think I'd buy it again given all the pitfalls.

Summary: Best phone I've owned so far
Review: This phone has many wonderful features. I really like having to only plug the main phone line into the wall jack. I can put my other phones anywhere else in the house I want -- no restrictions! I also enjoy the intercom feature which makes it easy to call my husband to dinner and saves me a trip up the stairs. The screen is easy to read and the directory is easy to setup. My only problem is that I can remember any phone numbers because the phone is remembering them for me!

Summary: Awesome!
Review: This phone is great! There is no hissing in the background or echo sound like most cordless phones have. The clearity is wonderful! This is a great phone system to have... especially with teenages at home! We love our phone and recommend it to everyone! Enjoy!

Summary: Pretty good, but not great.
Review: This phone is just okay, I've owned worse. The most annoying thing is the echo. When you talk to someone there is an echo, you hear yourself and it is very distracting. Another thing I don't like is how complicated it is to mount on the wall. I don't know why they had to make it a 20 step process just to convert it to a wall phone. As far as the positive aspects of this phone are, the price. It's like getting 2 phones for the price of one. I got it on sale which was even better. The battery has a long life and it is easy to operate. I looked around for many phones but there is so much junk out there, it's hard to find a good one. At least Panasonic is a name I can trust.

Summary: A Great Phone
Review: This phone is perfect. It has all the features we wanted...2 handsets, caller id in handset, speakerphone in handset, answering machine, headset compatible (not included) and is very convenient and easy to use. We like the ringer options. We've only had it for several weeks, but so far it's been amazing. We love it.

Summary: Good Speakerphone, REALLY Bad Base Station Button Placement
Review: This phone's flaws become obvious and annoying as soon as you take it out of the box. The menu system on the handset sucks. Panasonic feels that your call log is more important than the user directory and makes you scroll through several menus to call someone in the directory. MOST annying is the fact that you can't beam a user directory to another handset and must input names and numbers into each handset.

It's nice to see the consistency continues in their lack of planning, design, or ergonomics for the base station. By this time in answering machine evolution, we've all come to expect that the button close to the blinking message light would be the playback button. Here Panasonic shows its warped sense of humor as this is the message machine off button. Ok, if the button closest to the red light doesn't start message playback--then surely the biggest button button on the base station would, but no--this is the Handset Pager. The message playback is a black button just like the others, but round. I guess I should remember this in the dark.

The speakerphone is really pretty good. The caller ID is bad as mentioned in some other reviews.
