Summary: Good system, not the fastest
Review: My dad bought me this system for school work and for surfing the web. Works great for that. Of course I like to game, and it was okay but not great at that. So I ended up buying my own video card and a 2nd hard drive.

By the way the other reviewer is nuts, because I upgraded mine with the stuff he says you can use in about 30 minutes. Everything worked fine and it was all just the cheapest thing they had in the store. And while I didn't upgrade the ram I looked and there is a free slot, standard size for DDR-Ram.

Summary: Beware the Disposable Computer
Review: While HP's generally work nicely as a consumer computer, you WILL have problems if you:

(1) Try to add more memory and/or hard-disks -- the HP cases
are crammed full and you will have fun trying to fit your
new stuff in.

(2) Try to replace anything that goes out -- HP unfortunately
is not using standard parts for things like power
supplies; so, if yours goes out, it is not an easy or
inexpensive matter to replace it; it is easier and
cheaper to simply DISPOSE of a non-functioning HP and
get a new one.

Still, if you want something that works out of the box and would rather buy something new if you need to upgrade or change, HP is a reasonable computer to get.
