Summary: Decent sound but tuning and recharging them a chore
Review: I was moderately dissapointed with these but don't know how they compare with other wireless headphones on the market. Their sound is comparable to a decent set of plug in headphones with nice booming bass. The problem is if they aren't tuned properly there is alot of interference and static which makes them virtually impossible to listen to. Tuning them requiews fiddling with 3 or 4 dials both on the headphones themselves and on the back of the unit. Getting a good clear sound free of background noise can often take up to half an hour of fiddling. Also, if you move around a lot you can throw the reception off meaning you have to go back and fiddle with the dials again. The battery has a life of 7 hours meaning if you plug them in to the recharger whenever you're not using them you'll probably be ok. I would say if you're desperate for a pair of cordless phones these are probably good but you can easily buy a pair of good quality non-wireless phones for the same price or cheaper and save yourself a lot of hassle.

Summary: Experimental Head Gear
Review: I thought wireless would allow me to move freely while listening to music, but that has been anything but the case. With my pair, there is a constant 'fuzz' almost like I am listening to an old AM radio. It falls out of frequency so often I find myself adjusting the tuner usually after 3 or 4 songs. If I simply move four feet away from the receiver I am punished by extremely loud distortion. It's painful. Since I've had these I've yet to be able to find the 'perfect' frequency, never getting the clear sound I had hoped for. In addition to the flawed usability, these are a lot bigger than they look and a just a little too cumbersome. I've learned that with wireless headphones it's best to spend a little extra for better quality. But it cheap, buy it twice.

Summary: Decent sound for music, poor for talk
Review: I had to return these phones as they were essentially unusable for spoken words. I use headphones on the computer for both music listening and internet phone calls. Music sounded okay, although there was some detectable hissing. However, talk (or anything with silent patches) was very choppy. You could make out what was being said, but it made extended calls somewhat aggravating.On the plus side, the phones were very comfortable.

Summary: Great for wireless uses
Review: If you are looking for a great WIRELESS option, this is certainly the way to go. The range is great--I can listen to them anywhere in the house or in the yard. The sound is crisp and clear, though there is a minute amount of background hiss because of the FM transmission. Initial charging takes awhile to hold (a full 24 hours), but after that an overnight charge generally lasts 4-5 hours. The bass is reduced standard, but if compensated by equalizing at the source, you can make them sound great. Why the emphasis on WIRELESS? Because let's face it, their not a $100 pair of corded phones. The slight FM background hiss, the ocassional static and RF interference, and the need to charge them can at times be annoying. Corded phones typically have no hiss, great response with big bass, and can be less bulky. But I particularly needed wireless phones and find that they are great for all of my needs. I would recommend them to anyone who hates being tied to a chair or small range when wearing headphones. If hi-fi unity sound is your goal, look for some corded phones. If you want cordless, these are certainly worth the money.

Summary: Easily breakable headset, charging suggestion
Review: I'm not brutal with equipment, but in a few short weeks, the flimsy plastic part that holds the ear pieces to the headset broke on one side. Within a month or two the other side went as well forcing me to use office paper clamps to hold the whole thing together. I use them in bed late at night when the household is asleep. A second convenient bedside charger would be nice. I tend to put them down on the bedside table before I doze off rather than get up and walk across the room hook it up for recharge. If you're a late night TV watcher, you too might call this justifiable laziness. Too many times I put them on the next night and find the battery's down. I honestly think that before I replace them with another wireless, I'd find a way to sneak an extension wire across the room through attic or basement space and go with a standard wired headphone.

Summary: A solid product but could have been better
Review: These headphones are a decent wirless solution but are a tale of two realities. Reality 1 - When charged and properly tuned, they sound great; rich bass and full mid range with good highs. Their range is excellent - I have listened to music for 3-4 hours about 100 feet from the base. They are adjustable and accomodate different size heads easily. Reality 2 - The challenge of keeping them tuned and charged is not always easily accomplished. The battery setup and charging arrangement could have been done significantly better. Also unless you want to be adjusting the levels alot you need a fixed level signal. Additionally since the frequency reception is quite contingent upon battery strength, if you don't have the time or means to keep the battery charged to certain levels your performance suffers. Since I am a bit of a techno geek being mindful of charging and frequency adjustment is not a big deal, but others (like my wife) will find it a hassle.

Summary: not at all "high fidelity"
Review: Don't think for a moment that you're going to get high fidelity sound with these headphones. You're better off buying a small mp3 player/fm tuner with wired headphones. Some of them even allow you to wear the device on your arm, getting you most of the freedom that these "wireless headphones" offer. I bought these as a Christmas present for my wife, and we're both very unhappy with the sound. Also, the 900mhz frequency was of some concern, and it turns out to have been with good reason. We have a 900mhz cordless phone which uses "DSS" (digital spread spectrum; it does frequency hopping). It turns out that the headphones pick up a very frequent "click" noise which must be a result of the cordless phone's transmitter going past the same certain frequency over and over again. But even ignoring that issue, the sound is just not what we're used to from our mid-range consumer stereo and other experiences listening to consumer grade walkmen, cd players, and corded headphones on our hi-fi.

Summary: Sounds great, but needs a little help
Review: I had read the reviews where people were mentioning trouble with static in the headphones. I found that mine were shipped with the wrong transformer. Mine came with a 12v/100mA transformer, but the back of the transmitter shows that it needs 18v. Also the low amperage will increase the hissing. I got a generic 18v/300mA transformer at the store and now the hissing noise is gone and I can listen to anything I want with the volume up or down. I hope this helps.

Summary: Nothing wrong with these at all...
Review: Fine sound, good reception over a decent range (looks like I can get around the yard without them making any big complaints), comfortable. I would say that the fidelity is only slightly less than the earbuds I'm used to. And the separation is better than I expected. There is a fair amount of hiss if no music is on, but I'm pretty picky and I think its totally tolerable.

Review: These headphones are very great, But if you don't have it tuned correctly they can be a huge pain. You see the tuning must be changed for how much power is in the batteries I can walk around the house without having to lug around a big walkman bulging in my panys pocket or paying tons for a mp3 player. It comes with 3 AAA rechargeable batteries or you can go to the local food store and buy some nice non-rechargeable batteries. The manual tuning my be a hassle but once you've got it down it doesn't matter. These headphones are great for listening to music and T.V. but be prepared to adjust it a few times.
