Summary: Fabulous for the Beginner and the Pro
Review: We bought this computer for my granfather who live on a boat in Canada. We have been urging him to get a computer for years. He was down visiting for Thanksgiving and the day after I was looking throught he ads in the paper and I saw the n5415 at Circuit City for 1000USD (After rebates). I proposed the idea to my grandfather (who was at the time putting a roof on a gazebo for my mother) and he thought it a good idea. After we had been to circuit city twice (our first one had 'Bad pixels' according to a circuit city salesperson) and got our second unit home we set it up.

Windows XP set up was very quick and very helpful. I set it up with user accounts for my grandmother, grandfather, and myself (as admin). The included Microsoft Interactive Training (Start > All Programs > Accessories > Microsoft Interactive Training) was fabulous and incredibly helpful for my granfather and grandmother, what with them having last used typewriters as computers (it took a while for my grandmother to not bang and hold down keys).

The touchpad is marvelous and the DVD player works perfectly with Windows Media Player. 10GB doesn't seem like a lot, but for the novice it's A-OK. If I were buying a laptop now I would choose the n5415.
