Review: This laptop packs the most punch and has tons of cool features, at a price comparable to much less capable laptops.I was looking at three other laptops -- Compaq, eMachines and HP -- that were the same price. They had less memory, no FireWire, and USB1 instead of USB2. They also felt very flimsy compared to the Sony. The Sony feels smooth and solid. You can tell that the quality of the construction is much higher than the other laptops. If you already own a Sony digital camera, this is the laptop for you. It has a built-in Memory Stick slot so you can quickly and easily transfer photos from your camera. This laptop is very attractive. It has a sleek and refined appearance. It looks like it would have cost $3000, but only you and your credit card will know that you paid less than $1000 for it. I've talked to repair technicians at the store where I bought this laptop, and they said that it has an excellent reliability record. The other brands, such as Compaq, HP and eMachines, get returned with defects far more often than the Sony laptops. I would definitely recommend this laptop to anybody who wants the best computer for the least amount of money, without sacrificing quality.

Review: This notebook is a low-cost computer with above average power. I just got mine 4 days ago and love it! Easy to use and has 3 USB ports. If you need an in-expensive notebook, check this Sony out!

Review: Weights a lot, does`t heat except on bed, comes with a lot of programs, cero cables, only comes with one aol cd, and one manual, the computer freezed only once, has norton antivirus 2003.There is a $100 rebate for this laptop on internet, problem detection with fellowes usb mouse, the hard drive is 37.26gb says win xp. No floopy.Ati videocard.Battery lasts around two hours and thirty four minutes.

The computer freezed only once.
Has norton antivirus 2003 and it sucks.
There is a $100 rebate for this laptop on internet and i have never seen the refund.

Hard drive is 37.26gb says win xp.

Has a hidden partition with the installation programs.
It takes some time to load.
I tried to buy a better battery, but this laptop does`t exist anywhere, no one has heard of this laptop, can`t find the brand of it`s internal components or serial numbers.Almost impossible to buy parts for this laptop.So take good care of it.
The only good thing: it comes with one game and real player basic.
