Summary: great but not from Amazon
Review: --------------

This is an ultimate machine but I suggest you not to buy it from Amazon. I ordered this notebook from Amazon few days ago with 2 day shipping option. They didn't even process my order after a
week. When I call them after 3-4 days first they lied to me saying that there is a problem with my credit card. I called up my credit card company and came to know that Amazon didn't even made an attempt to access my account. Later, when I call back Amazon they started telling some good stories like this order needs some MANUAL processing etc. and they said I will be getting a call from their so called computer department in one or two business days which never happend. When I called them
after another two days I got the same reply. Some of the customer service representatives are so rude that they will hung up on you. But you will get a nice standard email apologiging for the dealy in processing the order every time you call them. Finally, I ordered it from some other place with one day shipping (for a $50 more) option and I got it yesterday and cancelled my order in Amamzon.

I've been an Amazon customer from the past 3 years and recently heard about the deteriorating amazon's customer service from some of my friends. But I experienced it for the first time...It
sucks!!!

Summary: Best bet in the price range.
Review: 1. Windows XP Professional preinstalled. Compared to Home edition it's an... added value.

3. This machine is on the border between the regular Satellites and the Media centers. It has most of Media center's power while not being much bulkier than for example A25 series.

4. Bigger screen is nice.

Summary: Wireless Difficulties
Review: The system is good looking, seems to run fine with no problems, except not able to get the system to recognize wireless network. This has happened with two of our systems here at work. Still looking for a fix. Tried looking up support on Toshiba's website, but all they have there is a phone number. Guess I will have to try tech support. My experience with any tech support (Dell, Gateway, Verizon, Comcast) has been that most of the support people know less than me, even about their own projects. Not sure if this is a just a flaw with all of these models or if we got two bad ones. Anyone else experience the problem?

Summary: Terrible Tech Support
Review: Toshiba may make good products, but their support is the worst i have ever come across. They have lost my laptop for over a month now and do not care a lick about it. They're tech support team is in Turkey and they dont care a thing about anybody. They kept hanging up on me and refused to help me saying it will take some time. When i called back- no one knew anything and had zero updates. DO NOT BUY TOSHIBA PRODUCTS! Get a Gateway or Dell instead...two companies that actually care about their customers.
