Summary: Great deal!
Review: After a *LOT* of research I bought my first MP3 player.
It is a very good deal, specially if you buy the 32Mb version an add an unexpensive 64 Mb smartmedia card. 96Mb is fairly more music than the one you'll need for a ride on the bus to college or work.

The sound is pretty good and you'll usually use it on shuffle without the remote. I don't have to say anything about the look.

The software works ok, you'll probably preffer the Yepp explorer (downloadable from samsung's site) than the included Real Jukebox.
About the transfer speed, well, when working with the embedded memory is just fine, however, downloading or even erasing music from the smartmedia is kinda' slow.

To sum up, if you get it from less than 100 bucks... it's a really good deal.

Summary: The Solution to Your MP3 Needs!
Review: First of all, let me say this isn't a biased review. I have tried numerous mp3 players, inlcuding the Nomad and Rio series, as well as several lesser known brands. All of them had their faults (see my review for the Nomad 64). The Yepp 32mb model, though, is picture-perfect. The outer appearance is very sexy, somewhat resembling a pager. In addition, the sound quality is excellent. It is crisp and clear, and the bass boost is significantly better than any other mp3 players I've tried. One of the problems I had with the Nomad was that techno music sounded "flat", but I have no complaints with the Yepp.

It comes with a VERY elite LCD wired remote, the best I've ever seen on any mp3 player. It blows the Nomad one out of the water, and on top of that, this one is included with the player. It also comes with a detachable belt clip and a set of sweet earphones (with sony-esque quality surprisingly). Even though the instructions that came with it were confusing, anybody who knows anything about computers should be up and running within half an hour.

The Yepp comes with 32mb onboard memory, but can be expanded to 96mb with a card... Overall, this is the BEST deal you can get... Cheap and dependable, with enough features to satisfy even the giddiest of gadget lovers. Trust me, this is what you've been looking for. The Samsung Yepp is a winner. Others can't compare!

Summary: Doesn't work with Windows XP
Review: Hi, Just purchased the Samsung NEU 32. It doesn't work with my new indows XP based computer. I phoned Samsung and they said they rely on Jukebox software...and they expected a XP fix towards the end of January. I hope it works....

Summary: samsung jjang!
Review: i finally bought this player online after wanting it for a long time. the lack of memory is the only pitfall to this machine, but extra memory slot makes up for it. it is incredibly easy to use, it took me only less 30 min to setup the connection, software and fill the 32 mb...i think its pretty amazing considering i've never used an mp3 player ever before! someone earlier said that it didn't work too well with XP but it worked perfectly for me. one of my favourite things is its not "expensive looking", the design is really fun and someone it convinces me that its less likely to be the target of a theft. i went jogging with it this morning and it was LIGHT! no skip, no burden, no hassle, just continuous music.

Summary: Not good at all
Review: I got one of these for christmas. It was rather large compared to some of the others in it's price range and the timing of the songs is so inacreate. You have to use 96kbs quility songs for it 2 be acreate, lower quility songs it just takes a guess at the lenght according to the quility. Also it takes an age to copy and delete songs. After about 2 months of having one it broke and the buttons would not work. I got a RCA K@zoo! copys and deletes about 20times quicker and is smaller, more durable and has acreate timing.

Summary: I am very happy to own this mp3 player(Silver Color)
Review: I have just received this unit today. It takes less than 2 minutes to transfer 32MB mp3 songs to the onborad memory using windowsXP, the YEPP explorer from the samsung website, DO NOT INSTALL THE SOFTWARE ON THE CD. I think this player's output is loud enough to enjoy the music on the street or working out. I don't know the battery life but ppl do have good thing to say about it. I have no problem connecting this unit to the computer.(less than 1 mins) and about the belf clif? It is very easy to use and fit perfectly to the player and I have no problem wearing it around.(I do prefer to have an arm band.) The battery door is no trick to open. This is the easiest electronic I have ever used. I don't know why people keep having hard time to operate it. I bought it at 39.99 with free shipping and I am heading to the neweggs.com to get a 25 Dollars 64MB SmartMedia card. Total investment will be around 65 dollars for a 96MB meomry MP3 player with cool apperance. Thumb UP to samsung again. oh yeah, I do own another 99 dollars Samsung Laser printer (8MB). I think I will give them more business in the near future when I buy a new plasma TV or HDTV.

Summary: Great Little Player!
Review: I just got the Samsung Yepp Hip-Hop today and after taking it out of the box and plugging everything in, I found it incredibly easy to use! I have Windows ME and I use Morpheus and Kazaa (like Napster) to download songs, and you can easily import the songs from your Morpheus and Kazaa onto your Yepp. Before getting the Yepp, I read almost all the reviews and now that i have it, i have no idea what the bad reviews were talking about!! It took me about 1 minute to transfer a song onto the Yepp and the sound quality is great. So if any of you out there are looking at the reviews deciding whether or not to buy this player, dont think twice! Its great! It also is one of the easiest MP3 players to use. So to sum up:

Pros:
*Light
*Small
*Great Sound Quality
*Really Really simple to hook up and use
*Looks Great

Cons:
*Non that i can see as of yet!

Summary: A good quality MP3 player
Review: I just recieved this player for christmas...I love the design and the remote that's included. I must admit, my heart fell a little when I saw it only had 32MB internal memory, but I was also give a 64 MB SmartMedia card, so that helped. I was able to fit 10 songs on the internal memory left with one MB left over. My one quibble so far is that when you plug the player into your USB port, teh light on the front turns red. Instinct would tell you this means that something's wrong, but it turns out it means the player is ready for transfer. It would be nice if the manual metioned this; It would have saved me anbout 15 minutes of fiddling with my USb configuration before i accidentally discovered what the light meant.
Other than that, this player is great. The sounds quality is very nice, even with techno songs and songs with high bass levels. The player has proved itself to be shockproof, as I ride horseback and this has already gone on three rides with me. however, if you are looking for a player with more internal memory, this is not for you. it is expandable to 150 MB (with a 128 MB SmartMedia card, about [amt]).All in all, a good MP3 player that's the right price for most people.

Summary: A GREAT MP3 PLAYER!
Review: I'm an extremely picky person, and I spent days searching all around the web after searching at stores around my neighborhood had failed. I wanted the perfect mp3 player because I didn't want to have to return it or call customer service (it's very annoying). After searching on Amazon.com and reading all the reviews for mp3 players that looked good, I finally decided on this one, just because it looked nice and the features seemed sufficient. When I finally received the product, I estactically opened it up and went to try it out right away. It was INCREDIBLY easy to use. I already had Real Jukebox on my computer, so installation was unnecessary. Even if I didn't have Real Jukebox, when you plug the USB cable in, it automatically leads you to the setup. You can just sit back and relax; everything's done for you. All you have to do is click the "next" button. Once the installation of Real Jukebox is complete, you can access it automatically from your desktop. From there, you go to the device icon and click on "Samsung Yepp". You can start downloading files right away. All you need to do is select the tracks and click transfer on the right..... The whole product is incredibly easy to use; I just couldn't believe it! I'm computer-illiterate, and I don't know much about the electronic stuff, so I was suprised to find out that loading and transfering files to the Yepp was so simple and fast. The instruction booklet that came with the product was also very informative. It told you everything that needed to be done, and nothing was left out. It even had troubleshooting tips! This product is great, and though you might complain about the small amount of memory, I easily fit 9 songs on the Yepp, and with a smart media card, I had about 18 songs, which is enough for me. I have just one more thing to tell you: BUY THIS PRODUCT! You'll be extremely satasfied with how simple and efficient it is. The cost isn't so extravagant either. Wouldn't you rather buy something at a decent price that works then something at a cheap price that's hard to figure out?
