Summary: Great MP3 player but lousy tuner...
Review: As an MP3 player, this product is a great deal. 32MB plus bass and treble make for a terrific MP3 listening experience. However, the FM tuner is pitiful. Both the sensitivity and selectivity are horrible, so only the strongest stations come in then only within a certain distance where other stations aren't interfering. It's totally useless for weaker stations. My old Sony FM Walkman is much, much better.

Summary: don't get involved with this company
Review: I bought an I-Jam in October 2000. At the time, they were offering a $50 rebate which I sent in promptly. In spite of repeated promises made by the company about a 6-8 week waiting time, etc. I *still* have not received the rebate after 6 months!

*extremely* bad way to do business. I have a feeling that it was all planned on their part.

BTW - The player also is not that great. The hardware to actually load the songs in unweildy. And the tiny display is less then informative and difficult to read.

Summary: Ijam mp3 player shipped defective
Review: I bought this player a few days ago. Had it shipped via FedEx only to find out it was defective, and had been marked on the unit (not the box) as such.

That's minus a point in my book.

Though it really is darn small and has a radio which most mp3 players don't (at least not in this price range). So I'm gonna try again one more time to see if Ijam can ship me a product that isn't defective.

Summary: LOVE this thing.. so tiny.. but FM radio sux
Review: I can't put this teeny tiny thing down, it's just the cutest. A great value with so many fuctionalities. A strange thing is 50% of the stuff I d/l from napster sounds crappy. Not sure if it's the files or it's the player? The FM radio reception is not very good.. can only pick up stations with VERY strong signals.

Summary: Great player, getting better.
Review: I fell in love with the player when I saw it at Macworld in July. It was definately worth the wait! Smallest and most affordable, the only shortcoming is the memory limit; but new media will be available soon. The other benefit of this player is that it HAS removable media, no waiting till you get back to your machine to hear different music, just slide in a different media card!

Summary: Best I've Seen
Review: I got this I-Jam MP3 player as a present. It's really lightweight, so you can bring it basically anywhere. I also like the fact that it has FM radio on it, and it has enough memory for about 8 songs. Oh, yes, one more thing. It requires 2 AA batteries, which will give you a lot of play. There is only one problem, that is that there are only 2 cards included, but the rest of this great player make up for it! I highly suggest!

Summary: get higher end mp3 player
Review: I got this mp3 player as a gift. You can only hold 4 songs per memory card--this really sucks. Who's going to want to just listen to 4 songs, and then have to switch memory cards? After using it just once, I gave it to my little sister. Also transferring files is somewhat inconvenient. For some reason, they decided to use the parallel port--have they ever heard of something called USB???
