Summary: great picture, great price.
Review: great picture and easy setup. i just plugged it in to my dvi out connection of my video card (ati radeon) and it looks great. also plugged in a second computer to the analog (vga) input and that looks good too. at first i was concerned if the 15" size would be big enough but it has nearly the same viewing area as my 17" crt monitor at work. the size of the footprint is small making it fit nicely on my home desk, and the weight is so little that it's easy to move if needed. the price was very reasonable for a quality flat panel and i didn't want to spend money for built in speakers or a swivel capability that i didn't need.

i'll never go back to crt again.

Summary: Once you go LCD you won't go back
Review: I purchased this a few months back and I have been very pleased with the quality of the Viewsonic VG151. The setup may seem like it is a little complicated because the back doesn't have exposed video or power connectors. You have to remove a plastic panel in the back of the monitor to connect the power and video cables. It is well marked and easy to do.

My monitor arrived with no dead pixels and still has none after months of use.

The picture is fabulous. It is very bright and clear and has great contrast. The screen size is the same as a 17" CRT. Unlike a 17" CRT it takes up very little space on the desk. I have a rather cramped desktop for this PC, so its footprint is a big plus.

One added feature is the VG151 ships with both an analog and DVI video cable. Many times LCDs will only ship with the analog and you'd have buy the DVI cable separately.

I love this LCD monitor and I'd buy it again.

Summary: Great Addition to My Computer System
Review: Just love this monitor. Got it as a treat last Christmas, and have used it for many hours each day ever since. It is trouble free, and gives me nice contrast and accurate color. I do some graphic arts work and this monitor is adequate for my needs.

Summary: A clear window to the world.
Review: This is a great little LCD monitor! It's bright, extremely clear, and seems quite roomy. I've used it with my Macs and PCs without any trouble at all. Mine did ship with a "stuck green" pixel in one corner, but it's hardly noticeable. Initial setup was a little more involved than I expected, requiring connecting several cables beneath a plastic panel in the back of the monitor. This monitor has both DVI and regular DB15 connectors. If you don't plan to use the DVI connection, you might want to go with a cheaper model. I use both connections, which allows me to have a Mac and PC connected to the monitor at the same time. Note that connecting the monitor to the newer PowerMacs via DVI usually requires a fairly inexpensive ADC to DVI connector cable. The digital display is just fantastic!
