The ViewSonic G70 MB is a multimedia monitor ideal for a number ofapplications including gaming, surfing the Net, business applications, andteleconferencing. The G70 MB has a 17-inch screen (16 inches viewable),with enhanced stereo sound through two bezel-integrated 3-watt speakers. Abuilt-in microphone enables two-way communication for activities like videoconferencing, and a headphone jack adds flexibility. The G70 MB displays anoptical resolution of 1,024 x 768 at a refresh rate of 87 Hz which, whencombined with the super-fine dot pitches (0.23mm horizontal and 0.27mmdiagonal), delivers clear crisp images that are flicker-free. Those imagesare further enhanced by the ARAG screen treatment with antiglare and antistatic coating. The onscreen menu includes ViewMatch, which allows the viewer to adjust color temperature and color intensity for screen-to-print matching. The G70 is compatible with PC and Macintosh systems, and it features plug-and-play connectivity. An optional ViewSonic USB hub is included, so youcan add external multimedia peripherals. The monitor complies withstandards set for low radiation, safety, ergonomics, and power management,and it has certification by TCO'99, Energy 2000, VESA DPMS, and Energy Star.Available in a black or white cabinet, it comes backed by a three-year limited warranty on CRT, parts and labor.
