Summary: Looks Great; Poor Television Picture
Review: Sleek looking monitor, but if you are going to use mainly as a television, beware. When switching between cable channels, this set is apparently unable to regulate the brightness or contrast of the picture, so that every time you switch channels you will have to spend minutes fiddling with the brightness and contrast controls. If you are at all a channel surfer, you will be very unhappy. Other than this problem, the picture for television is, in my opinion, mediocre, and does not compare to even bottom of the line crt televisions.

Summary: Good monitor and nice TV, but speakers need some work
Review: That's pretty much it! I had the Sharp 15e1u LCD TV, Dell 1700 before. The sound system of Sharp is better than this Cornea. But about the same picture quality, maybe Sharp's is slightly better, but not much different. However, I personally think the 1700 Dell is the best among all in pic quality, sound, and functions. But I was annoyed by the wide screen, I prefer 4:3 better. This cornea is, for its price, is probably unbeatable! I would like to recommend this to others. I have it for almost a month and like it so far. If there were component video inputs, much better. Overall, worth the money.

Summary: Think Again about buying one
Review: The monitor for a computer is very nice but for the CATV it is ok. If you hook it up using coaxial then throw the monitor in the trash can or sell it on line. If you use the s-video then it gets the job done and it is ok. I will try the DVI to see if it changes anything else. When I originally bought it I figured it would support PIP, but it doesn't (costly mistake). I can't figure out why Cornea didn't drop PIP along with it. It would have made much more sense and gained much greater popularity.

Summary: Good monitor but TV and speakers could use some work
Review: The TV reception with cable is not the best quality but is acceptable and the speakers are pretty much worthless. They definately remind me of the days of the one speaker portable TV's of 10-15 years ago. This is not my main tv viewing I just wanted it to watch some occasional sports in my office. I would not purchase this to use as a regular tv or specifically sit down and watch it for any length of time.
That aside, being a computer monitor I have had not issues and am very happy with it. The text is clear and have had no shadowing and I have so much room on my desk now. It arrived on time from Amazon.com and has worked perfectly since I bought it in February. Very quick hook up but, the cable connection can be a little difficult to get tight from the angle it attatches. It cost me [$$$] less than my friends viewsonic which doesn't appear any better to me.

Summary: Good monitor, Good TV IF...
Review: This is a good monitor and works well as a TV IF you use the digital or S-Video inputs. The picture using a coaxial cable is terrible! Unless you are going to get the picture from a source of S-Video quality or higher, I would not recommend you get this for TV use.

Summary: Cornea Systems CT1503 15" LCD Flat Panel Monitor
Review: This monitor is excellent. It's very clear and doesn't hurt your eyes. The only thing that I could think of that needs improvement is the TV tuner. It's not super clear, but it's okay. Otherwise, this monitor is excellent for the price and I would reccomend it.

Summary: Pleasantly surprised
Review: Though I expected to use it more as a TV than a monitor when I bought it, the CT1702 had such a sleek look to it that I couldn't help but hook it up and test out a few games that normally defy LCD technology.

What struck me first was the vibrant colors and brightness. It is as good or better than any of the high end LCD's I've checked out (and I've checked out quite a few). Though initial settings were maxed out on both brightness and contrast, they were still wonderfull once I reduced the levels to 80% of max. The image was free of graining or imperfections even when a flat color was observed.

Unfortunately, the refresh/trailing did not excell quite as much as the color/contrast. While it was acceptible for normal usage, it suffers from the fact that it is an LCD. What this means is that fast moving games with scrolling effects (FPS, Warcraft, etc) blurr out a bit. While the Cornea might not compete with the most recently produced top of the line in this respect, I would still rate it as above average in even its weakest suit. Full motion video was perfect and all but the most dedicated FPS gamer would be happy with its speed. Of course I can't say enough about the color and brightness.

Summary: Does Decent Job
Review: While the CATV reception is not as crisp as a traditional TV, it is acceptable. If space is not an issue (depth of tube), then a traditional TV is a better choice. If space is an issue, this monitor offers good trade-offs. In addition to the compact size, the price is far better than the LCD TVs. We are very satisified with the performance and the warranty.

Summary: Worked well for awhile then.........
Review: Worked great for awhile, then just quit altogether, I would recomend another brand, theri customer service was not helpful, and they told me I needed to send the monitor to them, on my dime, they would repair it and send it back COD for any charges.
