Summary: Solid, respectable monitor. Excellent value
Review: I bought this monitor on a gold box special and have used it for about a month now. I'm very impressed with it. Set up was a snap. I upgraded from a 15 inch LCD screen to this one, and boy the increased size does make a big difference. I haven't had any problems, and haven't detected any dead pixels, etc. I have external speakers so I don't use the speakers built into the monitor. I tried them, but as you could expect the sound wasn't great. It was passable, but if you have external speakers, you'll want to continue using them. I can't speak about all the detailed specifications for the monitor, but I can speak to the fact that it looks great to me, and that's all that matters! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this monitor to anyone.

Summary: Big picture - Small price
Review: I have had the CT1810 for over a year. I paid $670 for it then. I was curious as to how much they are going for these days by searching the web... I was impressed to see that Amazon's price was so competetive.
This LCD is an excellent product for the $$$!

Review: Short of a professional review, which I was unable to find for the Cornea, it is very difficult to judge the quality of a monitor with respect to others. In this case, however, I already had a 17" LCD Envision, which for a while I had hooked up to another computer, side by side with the Cornea. The Envision, which I think is excellent, had been reviewed by CNET as an "8." I rate the Cornea as visibly below the Envision standard in terms of the vibrancy and intensity of color and marginally below it in the sharpness of text. But the Cornea is more than satisfactory and I am very pleased with the purchase. Just compare prices for other 18" monitors and it is clearly an excellent value (in addition, you might check the manufacturer's site to see if there is a current rebate - the information is not always on Amazon). I should mention, however, that I do not use the Cornea for games or videos, so I can not comment on how it handles refresh rate, etc. Best of luck with your purchase.

Summary: Value Upgrade to Your Desktop - Easy Install
Review: Size does matter. An affordable 18.1" of quality screen with minimal footprint on your actual desktop makes this upgrade a joy. Text and graphics are crisp. Viewing angles and monitor tilt angles are excellent. Speaker quality is fair, but you probably have much better speakers with your computer. Cord installation requires you to remove two panels in the back.
- Take the lower one out first (it has two buttons on the sides)
- Upper panel will lift out
- Connect cables - there is a hole in the bottom panel
- Re-install panels and enjoy
No install problems. INF file on enclosed CD.
Enjoy the view and the increased workspace.

Review: Well if your like me, you've been looking for a flat panel for a long time. I think it took me longer to decide what brand to buy than it did to buy my house! You will not be sorry. This is a big monitor. I was torn between an 18 and 19 inch monitor and for the difference in price go with the CT1810 - 18.1 inches. You'll be amazed at the real estate you get back on your desk. The picture is crisp and clear. I was torn between the Viewsonic and the Cornea. My final decision was made by the fact that Amazon[.com] offers free ship and Cornea Systems is offering a rebate. Monitor arrived in perfect condition - no dead pixels and set up is quite easy. If you have XP - just plug it in - no need to load the .inf file from the CD rom. Plenty of adjustments for your personal preference and plenty of tilt at the base for just the right viewing angle. The only area where this monitor falls short is the integrated speakers. If you have a speaker system use those - not Cornea's. Spend the money - you will be sooooo happy!
