The Canon BJC-1000 gives you both affordability and a wide range of color printing options to make the most of your images. It's a great printer for home and family use. The BJC-1000 comes with Canon's Creative Home software, which makes it easy to make custom greeting cards, calendars, T-shirt art, and more. It handles a wide range of print media, including glossy photo paper, transparencies, banner paper, greeting cards, and even T-shirt transfers. The Canon BJC-1000 is fairly easy to set up, and comes with a comprehensive, easy-to-follow manual. It gave us sharp, colorful printouts at about two minutes per page in color mode. The Canon BJC-1000 comes with a standard color cartridge, but also accepts photo-realistic, high-resolution color cartridges, neon color cartridges, and high-resolution black cartridges. While you probably wouldn't use the Canon BJC-1000 for high-volume professional applications, it fits the bill nicely for a home printer--it's especially good for printing photos and greeting cards for friends and family members.
