Review: The Yamaha YSTMS30W delivers good sound quality for computer or bookshelf application. The price is reasonable. It's a good deal if you are searching speakers for your desktop PC.

Summary: Little Tiny Speakers - Great Big Sound
Review: These little guys really rock. I particularly liked the fact that you can play music from the cd drive, and work on line at the same time, and the on line sounds are reproduced with the music. Great bass sounds, and the high ends are clear and bright. With the rebate, these are a real value.

Review: These speakers are NOT worth ($), or ($) after the mail in rebate. There is very little bass. The satellites sound very "tin"y. The sub, even though it is 18 watts, feels VERY weak. I attempted to correct this with using an equalizer with Winamp and it failed to bring the bass out. I am not happy with this set what-so-ever. I am heavily into home audio and know a good sounding speaker when I hear one. I am greatly dissapointed to say the least.

Summary: Fabulous quality for the price
Review: These speakers are really small, but they pack a lot of punch. You can get them up pretty loud, and the bass is powerful if you turn it all the way up. You get no distortion, even if you turn them up all the way. They're very conveniently sized for a home or home office situation. One great thing is that the power cord doesn't take up extra space on your surge protector because the plug is normal sized instead of being a huge block.The one problem, as I believe other people have said, is that the control for the bass is on the back of the subwoofer, which makes it hard to reach. It would have made a lot more sense to put it with the regular volume control on the right speaker. Definitely a great deal, though. Excellent speakers. I'm very happy with them.

Summary: Tiny speakers yield excellent sound.
Review: These speakers were very inexpensive. Based on the other reviews, I replaced my existing pair of Altec-Lansing speakers with this three speaker set. I have not been disappointed. The speakers are tiny, but adding the subwoofer gives you a full, rich sound. The result is a nicely balanced listening experience. The only thing missing from my old speakers are the treble and bass controls. However, the bass level on the subwoofer is adjustable and the highs are so clear that I can't imagine ever wanting to turn the treble up, anyway. I'm very pleased with this purchase.

Review: These Yamaha speakers are perfect for a person looking for a pair of decent speakers for their computer. I just got them today and within 10 min, I had them hooked up to my computer, pumping out songs. The satellites, although small, provide wonderful highs and the base coorelates perfectly to the song. The speakers are small enough that they fit anywhere you want them. If there is one thing that these speakers won't do, it's blow you away with bass. The bass is good, but you have to remember that the sub is only 18 watts. Overall though, I would recommend these speakers to anyone looking for a good pair at a great price

Summary: More for the Money
Review: This was my first time buying speakers for my computer, so I was a little unsure about investing a lot of money into my first set. Then again, I didn't want to waste money buying a cheaper and lesser quality brand. I made a great decision with these. Beautiful sound, and not a huge investment. I recommend them to anyone who is a first time and thrifty buyer.
