Sony SRS-D2100 2.1 Multimedia and Gaming Speaker System

Summary: Great looks, horrible sound....
Review: So i was looking into geting some speakers for my ipod and laptop for my bedroom. I was aiming to get the JBL creature II speakers. But when i went to the store i saw the sony speakers screaming at me. They had none on display, but i just decided to go with them cause i like sony (i know i know). So i take them home hook them up... turn them up... then get a big frown, me and my roommate look at each other funny... the sound quality was sub-par to the free harmon kardon he got that were in the bathroom. I was so so so dissapointed. I thought they looked so nice and i trusted Sony... when they where turned up loud it sounded so unbalanced, the satillites where trying to play too much and everything sounded muffled and the highs, mids and bass where sounded so "crammed" together. The woofer is huge but is so "loose" sounding. the looked nice on my dresser.. but that's it. I took them back and got the JBL creature II which where $50 cheaper look just as nice if not nicer and sound 100 times better!
