Review: First of I would like to say hat thse speakers are extremely good. These speakers came with my computer and they werent that hard to hook up. Actually they were relatively easy to hook up. It took me about 3 minutes to hook them up. They have very good bass, and can playvery good mids. The only thing is thy cant play highsat all. They get didstorted alt. Actually i blew my fort pair up and had to buy another, but other than that thy really good.

Summary: Good Low-Priced Computer Speakers .... Surprisingly Good!
Review: These stereo computer speakers from "Boston Acoustics" perform their variety of tasks very, very nicely, in my opinion. This 2-piece speaker system came free with my first personal computer. And when I see some of the much more inferior speaker systems that now are being included as free components (as part of a computer's standard set-up), I'm glad my initial PC came with these excellent-sounding Boston brand speakers. In fact, even after the computer that accompanied this set of speakers died, and I upgraded to a different PC system, I elected to hang on to these Boston speakers, instead of using the new ones that came with my updated PC. These Bostons had much better sound quality than my newer ones.

Some computer companies are now even charging an extra (nominal) fee for just the inclusion of something standard like speakers. And even for the extra charge, some of those speakers can't hold a candle to these Boston babies (IMO)!

Some great sound comes out of these, including a bass that's fairly rich and full. I'm sure there are many computer speakers out there on the market that can top these units for depth of sound. But these Bostons can certainly hold their own as far as my ears can tell.

Music and dialogue come through clear and static-free. Even at higher volume levels, you can get some really decent sound from music out of these Bostons.

These are very easy to set up, with all jacks located on the RIGHT speaker. The volume / on-off control is also situated on the RIGHT side speaker. I like the looks of these units too. Classy.

At a nice value-level price, these speakers represent a true "can't-miss" purchase.
