Summary: Great Controller
Review: This controller is the greatest ps2 clone type controller out there. Especially with its ability to use keys from the keyboard. With that ability you can use the controller even on games that dont support controllers. Say you wanted to use the controller with quake 3 (for whatever odd reason) then you could set the up D-pad key to w, down D-pad to s, A to left D-pad, and D to right D-pad and so on.

Anyway its a great controller and it controlls pretty well. Its not very big however maybe a 6 year old or someone with hands of that scale may have trouble grasping it i suppose.

Anywho 5 stars *****

Summary: HOLY MOLY!
Review: This gamepad is amazing. At first I doubted the Action Stabilizer Bar. I then realized it's genius, with this Bar, my action would be stabilized. I would no longer have the dangers of the gamepad slipping out of my hand during intense moments of play. Many a time playing 2d independent games has the controller taken life of it's own.

While at first appearing unwielding and a bit insane in design, the controller is very comfortable. It fits like a glove. If your glove size is the same as mine. You know what I mean! :)

The copper on the underside makes the controller nice a comfortable. It rubs off on your hands so latter when I'm out with the ladies i can say I was in my workshop making things from copper instead of playing a video game. It really helps. THANKS BELKIN!

Summary: Awesome Gamepad!
Review: This gamepad is great. All those gamers that put bad reviews about it are probably wrong because they complain about stuff too big or stuff too small. Theirs probably doesn't work on their computer... Anyway there are more than 10 different buttons and about 6 triggers! I really think that this is an item you have to have. Guess what? It's [inexpensive] only [dollars]! So gamers if you want to have the time of your life on this PS2 type controller BUY IT!!!...

P.S. Also look out for "GIANTS CITIZEN KABUTO"
see ya round.

Summary: Works great
Review: This is a cool PSX2 style controller that can be used with just about any game offering gamepad support. I just plugged it in the usb port on my laptop and Windows XP instantly recognignized it-didn't even need the CD. I use it to play all sorts of games including vintage NES and Genesis ROMS and it works fine every time. Theres better controllers out there, but at under twenty bucks, this is the best deal for diehard and casual gamers alike.

Summary: A very bad controller!
Review: Well, first of all I just recieved this pc game controller, and noticed right away that certain pc games (controller configuration) weren't even recognizing that there was a controller installed (even though I followed the steps carefully). These are games that worked fine with other controllers but not this one... THen I called belkin's tech support, and they told me that the latest software doesn't even come with the controller, and that it has to be downloaded... They said this should fix the problem after downloading the current version off of their website, but they were totally wrong because nothing changed at all! I give this product an F- . Don't waste your money on this piece of junk, unless you plan on buying a better controller to use for games that this one wont work with....

Summary: It's called a D-Pad, people... Don't screw it up!
Review: While the Nostromo has some amazing features under its belt, I've found that it's got a serious flaw as well--the D-pad. Now, some people may not even use the pad all that much, but I play a lot of independant 2D games so the D-pad is critical to my PC gaming. Using the analogue sticks for this purpose is out of the question. Basically, I used it til it broke, so you can consider that some pretty thorough testing. And by broke, I mean the D-Pad just snapped right off; this is something I've never seen happen before. I've had buttons go out on me or lose sensitivity, but only after years of use, I can't say I've had the Nostromo nearly as long as my Genesis or Saturn pads (it can't have been more than six months), nor has it endured the furious abuse those controllers have recieved.

Once the pad popped off, the reason for it was obvious--it's the "top" of a little stick, about a centimeter in diameter, and apparently it isn't afraid to give out on you. As I say, I've never lost a D-pad before. Most pads go with a more button-like design, and it's obvious to me now why. This is not acceptable.

Everything else about this controller is fantastic, which makes it all the more painful to lose it. The programmable functionality is exceptional, it'll work even with games that don't support pads naturally, you can program macros, and the analogue sticks can even be used for mouse movement. The controller is very comfortable for me to hold (with my small girly hands even) and the grips are full and meaty, very pleasant to hang on to. But the D-pad? It's a piece of garbage. If you need a pad for analogue sticks and don't plan on heavy use of the digital pad, I can't recomend it enough. In my case though, the controller is seriously flawed in the most important place. The worst part is that I'll probably never find a replacement that's as good in all the other areas.
