Summary: Snap Crackle Pop!
Review: I am amazed. I've been through many joysticks in my day, but tonight I had the pleasure of a new experience. As I sped through GTA the handle snapped off in my hand. I'm grateful I bought it used and it was relatively good while I had it, but that whole breaking in two makes you wonder about Gravis. It looks like they don't sell many joysticks anymore...maybe this is why. Invest your money elsewhere unless you can get it cheap and treat it like a newborn.

Summary: My experiences with the Eliminator
Review: I recently aquired a Eliminator Joystick and I was fairly happy with it. I have both the WingMan Strike Force 3D, and the Eliminator and would choose the WingMan for comfort, control, and style. However for the cost of the Eliminator it is a great buy.

You can do all the stuff with the Eliminator that you can do with its Logitech counterpart, and save yourself $40.00. However the mechanics are a little looser, and the fire buttons may seem a little cheaper, but the overall effect is the same. You get what you pay for as the saying goes.

It does seem that the "force feedback" engines are slightly more noticable and powerful on the WingMan Strike Force 3D, however if that's not all your looking for then don't worry. I also found that after long durations of use my hand does seems to cramp up more with the Eliminator (should it be more ergonomic, or should you play less games...? You decide).

Overall I give this product 4 stars for its ability to keep me playing the games I do without thinking about the devices I am using to play them.

Review: It happened to me too. The handle broke right off. Odds don't look to good for this product. Wish I'd read these reviews BEFORE I bought mine.

Summary: Gravis Eliminator; Nice Features, Poor Quality
Review: It is a nice joystick for the money, but is it worth it? I have bought two of these at different times and both of them have done the same thing! They have broken at the stick, making them useless. They did this without much pressure. What junk! I tried to put them back together, but for some reason, not even Super Glue will work... And of course the warrenty won't cover this! I am now going to try something that I can trust; a Logitech or a Microsoft joystick. They are more expensive, but in the long run, cheaper. I suggest that you don't make the same mistake I did, buying a Gravis.

Review: looking at the eliminator precision pro its = as good left handed as right handed is one of the most comfortable designed joystick with the best button placement I ever seen for me programble to up to 18 buttons for my first person shooter games
yep thats what i used it for.

first person shooter game on the internet is what i used my eliminator pro for. I have been using them for nealy 5-6 years now maybe more. I must say comapred to your 5 button or less, funky vibrating throbing super sticks which are out there, this is the real deal it rocked totally. The plain simple design the grip and overall controll I had was totally awsome.

you cant beat this joystick for design and over all buttons which are programble to play games on all games. like I said the placment is simple and easy not this fancy space age crap its simple and easy and more buttons than anything else I seen. Which is why you all bought this joystick in the first place when ya saw it you went yeah.(am i right or am i right ?? )

The durabilty yes is a slight problem even a experienced gamer like myself only ever got 3 months from one BUT, thats where the 3 year parts replacment warranty kicked in for me and over 3 years i replaced maybe 6-8 joysticks free.

In closing the design of this joystick is totally awsome it does have some durability issues. Its not meant for aggrevise peeps who have the sensetivity set so low they feel like they have to rip the joystik off to move. maybe gravis will make a metal one with the same design seeing im soooo sad now its discounted sale and i belive when stocks run out there will be no uber designed joystick for me.

ill be like the rest of you playing on some vibrating 4 button 2 axis picece of uncomftable junk where the throbing of the joystick was more important than any real design (asif if that makes games more realistic)

Review: My 6 year old kid was playing with this and the joystick broke right off. He's pretty small and not using much force. I agree with others - this unit may be inexpensive to buy but doesn't last long.
