Review: I tested other joysticks at the store and almost bought a MS Sidewinder. I saw this one sitting all by itself in the corner. It was in the box so I didn't get to test it. I chose it over the Sidewinder because of the resistance knob.

I took it out of the box, plugged in the usb, and Windows XP recognized it. After calibrating it, I was playing my favorite game, Battlefield 1942, in minutes. I never even touched the driver disk.

I have no complaints about this joystick. It is comfortable. The size of the base is big which means it doesnt slide around or feel like it is going to tip over. All the buttons work great as well as the throttle control. I am not sure if I am missing anything by not getting the Sidewinder but I would make the same decision again.

The box shows that the joystick "vibrates". I have only used the joystick in Battlefield so maybe that game doesnt support it. Nonetheless the joystick has never vibrated. Not a big deal for me as the vibration might be more annoying than helpful.

Review: The feel of it is great, after no more then 5 months though, it started rolling my plane right, and just a few mins ago i cant even take off without doing 360 degree spins in the air. Cheap workman ship. Go with a microsoft sidewinder, ive had one for over 5 yrs and havent had a problem with it yet...and for the vibrating stick, more of an annoying gagdet then anything.
