Summary: The cure for hardware addiction
Review: Quite honestly, this is more hardware than any games can currently max out. It won't turn your 386 into a model 3 board, but it will run every 3D game out there at 1024x768 res well. You'll never have problems with older games (which often only support Glide or basic D3D), and it will always be supported. For those of you who remember, 3DFX is to 3D cards what Creative Labs was to sound cards. More "flashy" products may get churned out, but they are soon forgotten. If you're buying a gaming card for the next 2 years, this is the one you'll be 1) the most happy with, 2) have the least problems with, 3)understand why people sport such wood over the modern 3D shooter.

Summary: This card is awesome. Especially if I could afford it.
Review: The 3Dfx 3500 TV is an excellent card. I would like it even more if I could afford to buy one. They are excellent for any type of video. Several downsides. If you're that interested read the review in PC Gamer.

Summary: Hate it!
Review: The graphics work fine but its been 6 months and the tv tuner still does not work. I have tried 2x on the phone an multiple emails and still have not gotten any worthwhile advice from 3dfx. I am ready to throw it in the trash and get another brand's card.

Summary: Voodoo3 Review
Review: The reason I only gave this card a 3 out of 5 stars, is that it seems to lack the power that is needed in todays games. It really is a great card though, extremly well made! Its a 3DFX, and I think they make exceptional products. For games as half life and such, it does a BEAUTIFUL job, but for Q3, it doesn't quite have the buffering power. It also doesn't have 32 bit color. I wouldn't say a GeForce is any better either, I don't think they are that well made. I'd wait another month or so for 3DFX's Voodoo4 and 5.

Summary: I think it's a great product!
Review: The Voodoo3 3500 TV was a snap to install, the break-out box made hooking up my N64 a snap, and the drivers I downloaded off the Internet were straightforward. This card is fast! And the fact that I don't have to have a crappy PCI TV Tuner attached to it is a great addition.

Summary: Its very cool! but the drivers.....

Summary: Good but not the best
Review: This is probably one of the best cards out there. Although I know for a fact it is not the best card out there, it it still delivers outstanding performance. I wuold recommend buying a 3DFX card only because they support Glide, wich is a faster way to play your games. But if you are going for speed and detail go for eiher the new DIAMOND STEALTH card or the Geforce. WARNING THEY MAY BE MORE EXPENSIVE!

Summary: Video Capture
Review: Well i purchased this card for video capture not for gameing and after four months of tweaking i finnally got it working correctly.I have to say it commands my whole system, other add ons dont like this card (webcams and other usb toys)The software that came with it for video capture is nice but not so user friendly and it doesnt compress like people might think for avi formating. The quality of the video is excelent.I also had to download new drivers (after only four months)Overall its a good card for the money.Remember you get what you pay for in video capture cards. And in this price range this is as good as it gets.Oh one more thing the captureing devices are not reconized by microsofts netmeeting so you are unable to hold netmeetings useing your camcorder with this card.Thats a real dissapiontment for me.

Summary: Not too great
Review: When i first bought the card, it worked very well for tv tuning, etc. except I did have problems with the VCR... After my depot warranty expired i purchased a DVD-ROM drive. when i installed the DVD-ROM drive, i found that it would not work properly unless my Voodoo drivers were updated. I then went to the webpage and after searching and searching i found the drivers i needed. DVD worked very smoothly, I was very satisfied, my only complaint was that my monitor was too small and i wanted to watch my DVDs on my TV. When i attempted to hook up my TV to the composite-out ports it did not work at all, nor did the audio. I then realized that a driver was disabled because when it was enabled, it would not allow my power management to properly function. I also read another review which said that it is in fact a PCI card which uses the AGP slot. I do believe this completely because i have had nothing but problems and i dont feel that it is all that great of a card. I am going to get rid of this junk card and buy myself an ATI All-In-Wonder and do not fear, as soon as i get it i will be back to review that one as well! well i hope this helped everyone - DO NOT BUY THIS CARD! oh yeah and the only reason i gave it one star is because u cant give none. yeah ok bye

Pat is too cool to be true
