Summary: Voodoo 3 2000- What do I think?
Review: I recently bought a voodoo 3 2000 pci card and i got to say it is one of the best cards i seen, i can run ANY GAME SMOOTH even if it requires more cpu speed then i got, its like the card actually works harder than my cpu....Defently a good idea to put one in your system only 1 bad thing is that it only has 16 bit color but on the other hand i havent noticed that much of a difference everything is nice and bright and the games are looking better then ever.....

Summary: Too Hot to Handle
Review: I recently upgrade my comp. to celeron 433 and graphic card to Voodoo3 2000 AGP and hope to get a decent picture quality for the movie. Well, the quality of picture is good, but, my computer crashed daily (blue screen) because of the excessive heat of the VDO card. Driver that came with the package was not work, neither did the updated driver on the net. This happend even when I use 2 fans to help air circulation (one right on the heat sink, one one the PCI slot). I have 4 fans in my comp., does not do any good. I have to open the computer cover to releif the situation.

Review: I thought this card was really good. I had a 8mb 3dcard and i was really hope to buy this card. But i dont had a AGP slot. So i could only get PCI.You know PCI is slower than AGP but i thought this card will be good enough for me. But it wasn't. I was playing action game which is Tribes. And i couldn't see the smooth screens.And i could see the jaggies from the charactors and buildings and 16mb is enough for games but.... its NOT enough memorys to make computer faster, i couldnt feel any faster speed from the computer. I hope you guys better get other 32mb or 64mb 3dcard but good thing was voodoo card supports many games.

Summary: Overall excellent product
Review: I was a bit nervous about purchasing this card since reviews said that several others were better. I'm actually quite glad I got it. The card worked seemlessly with all my games and aps, and was ready for Win 2K before most people. Customer service is superlative. It can be safely overclocked to a Voodoo3 3000 speed (just make sure you have a fan). The price was excellent and I expect it to last at least a couple years.

Summary: Good entry-level card for good price
Review: I was looking for an inexpensive card that would let me play 3D games. Didn't want to spent major $$$ for a top of the line card. Did some research and decided on this one. Installation was super-easy on my 333mhz pentium. I was up and going within 20 minutes. Even the 2D is an improvement over my previous 4MB card. I would recommend this card if you are in the market for a low cost 3D card and are not a super-super-serious gamer that is only going to be satisfied with the top of the line.

Review: I was thoroughly disappointed in the performance and ease of installation of this video card. If you're looking to by an upgrade and your computer has an integrated video card, don't bother with this item. I spent thirty minutes on the phone (after being on hold for forty!) with the 3dfx support people and they still couldn't tell me what to do. I won't even begin to try and tell all the things wrong with the installation. Suffice to say that the instructions do not match what you see when you do it yourself. Do yourself a favor and buy a TNT2 card, you'll thank me later for it.

Summary: This is a great PCI card
Review: I you have an onboard video chip, this is an awesome upgrade. The only problem is up disabling the onboard video chip. Email me if you need to know how.My current system is 533mhz Celeron, 128 megs of RAM, Windows 98SE, 20 gig hard drive. I used to play Unreal tournament at 512X384 with med and low settings at 16 bits, now I run at 800X600 at high detail settings. My monitor will not handle a high setting. Anyway the graphics at 50 times better than before. Quake 3, graphics are better and run smoother. I you hurray up and buy, you can get $30 back from the 3dfx. Recap: I love this card, graphics are 50X better than before. Buy this card if all you have is a PCI interface.

Summary: So Far So Good!
Review: I've bought this card after attempting to play Sammy Sosa High Heat Baseball 2001 on my Intel 3D Viedo Card. Graphics changed from super slow and choppy to sharp and speedy. This is my first real video card upgrade and installation was a snap! My 2D apps are somewhat clearer and load faster. I did hardly any research and got this and so far I am satisfied.
