Summary: It was cheaper two years ago...
Review: (...)I'm not sure if I was buying a new video card now that I would buy this one. It's fairly weak and wouldn't be very useful for anyone planning on doing any serious amount of gaming, however if you just need something to output a picture, this will sure do it. It is Windows XP compatible, so that's a plus.

Summary: Not for Win2000 second monitor
Review: I installed this video board for a second monitor on my WIN2000 PC. Many conflicts with drivers, etc. After a few days of research I found out that the ATI Rage 128 boards will work but this one won't. Hopefully this review will save you the trouble I went through. Dell sales people and even techies were lost on the issue and it took a week to get a straight answer from ATI.

Summary: Economy Upgrade
Review: I'm still trying to get another years use out of my machine and this was a perfect option for that. I'm not a heavy gamer but it gave me some slightly noticeable improvemants in most of the applications I use that demanded a little better graphics performance. The price was perfect for the reasons that I needed it for. The installation went flawless and there have not been any conflicts with any of my system's resources yet. The price and ease of installation is why I gave it 4 stars.

Summary: A great mid range card
Review: The card is a great upgrade for someone who wants a high performance card. I used the ATI Expert 98 8MB PCI card last year for my overall needs. It's a good card for games and it's amazingly fast for an 8 MB card. The AGP card is being used as a second card because I have an All-In-Wonder 128 PCI which has TV out.

Summary: Not a good 3d card..
Review: This card came with my computer.. I didn't keep it long. It struggles to handle any 3d video game. It gives horrible 3d performance and makes it virtually impossible to play games like Quake 3, Half-Life, or Unreal Tournament. If you are looking for a card you probably already have a better card than this in your computer. Try to avoid this....
