Summary: This is a good card.
Review: Definitely. I am so glad I bought this Graphics card, it's [inexpensive] and works really well. Played every single game I own perfectly. Warcraft 3, no problem. I would definitely recommend it. I've shopped around, if you need a good PCI graphics card, this is it.

Summary: Decent at Best
Review: First of all, let me start by saying that the line of GF4MXs are built around the GF2 engine. That meaning that you won't get any of the new features the GF4Ti's bring. The card is decent for some games, but will have lots of trouble with newer games. I suggest you shell out another $$$ and get the GF4Ti4200, deffinately way better than this.

Summary: Great Value
Review: Great performance for its price. One of the best choices out there for PC's without an AGP slot.

Summary: this card is utter garbage
Review: i bought this card not once but TWICE and both didn't work in ANY computer it was tested in, almost frying the motherboards in the process. visiontek needs to recall this model because others WILL suffer as much as i have.

Summary: Worked Fine for 3 Months
Review: I have a nearly three year old Compaq which does not have any AGP ports, so I needed a PCI card to play the new Warcraft & Age of Mythology games I purchased in the fall. I wasn't looking for the greatest card, just one that would allow me to play the new games until the day (if there ever is one) that I can afford to get a new PC with better everything.
Well, the card seemed to work fine.... for just over three months until it blipped out on me and started showing a multicolored screen. I took it into work and tried it on some other PC's... it was gone.
I won't buy it again, but thank goodness I purchased it at Wal-Mart.

Review: I purchased the VisionTek Xtasy Geforce4 420 MX 64mb card about a year ago. It works fine with my golf game MS Links LS 2003. That's a lot rendering between screens. I thought I would see what was new on the market but relatively inexpensive. I bought the PNY GeForce FX 5200 with dual GPU's 128mb. Admittedly, the dual GPU's did make the rendering and all video displays load and respond a "tad" faster. The Xtasy Geforce4 420 MX has only one GPU but it works just fine in comparison to the newer Vid-card. I am bringing the FX 5200 back to Staples today. I think I got one heck of a good deal with the Xtasy Geforce4 420 MX. If you want to get the best performance out of your Xtasy Geforce4 420 Vid-card, download the driver verison 5.2.1.6 from the www.nvidia.com site. Once you choose your type of card and operating system, click the link on the left of the page that says "archived". Find the driver released in October 2003 with the version numbers above. You'll have a ball!

Summary: Works Great!
Review: This Card is Awsome. I use it to play games on our TV. One of the coolest features is that it puts things like Real Video on the TV. The quality of the video is the same as the original. (Unlike most full-screen video which merely stretches the picture.) It automaticly puts the full screen video on the TV so that you don't have to go through all the commands of switching to full screen. It is a little complicated to set up that feature however.
