Summary: Little Boom
Review: As an entry level box, it is not bad for a child to get started with electronics. The compactability of the unit is terrific for small hands and the price is outstanding. A good value!

Summary: Good radio for the money. We use it in our son's bedroom.
Review: Don't expect to use this as a soundsystem for a party. The sound is lousy at higher volumes.

Overall quality is good. The CD player works very well and the tape player is fine too. Radio reception is very good. I can pick up some distant stations. The antennae isn't the greatest. The handle gets in the way of the antennae. We haven't had a single problem with it and we've used it daily for almost a year.

But it is a good deal for the money. I would buy one again.

We use is mostly in our 3 year old son's room to play some quiet bedtime music.

Summary: Look closely
Review: I ordered this radio for meetings and when I finally got it Iwas very dissapointed. They did miss one thing the Radio does not have atrack counter so you don't know what track your playing. Not Cool.

Summary: PRETTY GOOD LOW-TECH CD PLAYER
Review: My mom got me this CD player a couple years ago for Christmas and I have used it ever since. It doesn't really have the features of the more expensive stereo systems such as bass boost, surround sound, etc... but the sound quality is a lot better than these other reviewers are making it out to be(it seems like the only people who ever review electronics are people who got ones that don't work). It actually plays some of my CD's that are too scratched up for my expensive 45-second ESP portable CD player which is great because otherwise I would have ended up buying a whole bunch of newer CDs. I have noticed also that if it doesn't play a scratched CD the first time, it gets better with each time you play it. God knows why that is, but I'm not complaining. Anyway, this CD player has pretty good sound (the part in Led Zeppelin's What is and What Shall Never Be where the guitar goes back and forth between the left and right channels comes across great), it plays scratched CD's, and you should buy it.

Review: The CD player on this unit stopped working within a week of the warranty expiring.

Summary: Extreme disappointment with poor fidelity and features
Review: This boombox sounds really great for a compact unit. It has all the features one would need to use. The sound that comes from this machine is quite remarkable. One would think that a small boombox would equal to "small" sound, however, not in this case.

I have a small table in the kitchen area which makes a good place to put it.

All in all, this boombox delivers good sound and reliability.
