Review: sony has addressed most of the complaints people had of their previous model. for example, this unit allows shuffle of mp3 within a folder, or within the entire cd. There is no lag in the play of mp3 files, and they added support for variable bit rate. The included software is easy to use and powerful. All in all an excellent choice for the beach, on a boat, or on the go. Only complaint is the speakers are a bit small, and the sound at times is a bit tinty.
